This is the largest hotel I've stayed at in Japan, even bigger than ones costing 1300 yen. If you're coming to Japan, you absolutely must stay at this hotel in Nagasaki. The location is excellent, right in Chinatown, and there are buses going everywhere. It's just a one-minute walk if you turn right out of the hotel. I hadn't booked a hotel and wanted to challenge myself and test Trip.com. When I asked at the hotel, it was 330 RMB per night. I had seen it online for 180 RMB, and by the time I checked out, it was a little over 230 RMB, which is still much cheaper than booking directly. Trip.com is reliable. I've always stuck with Trip.com. Because the hotel was so good, I decided to stay an extra day in Nagasaki. On the second day, a Saturday, the price went up to 280 RMB. I'm not sure what the price would have been if I'd booked it the day before, so I can't say. Also, to get to Spectacles Bridge, you just walk right out of the hotel for about six minutes.

The location is fantastic, right next to the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the local area and to other destinations. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old. I also found it a little challenging to communicate with the hotel staff in English. The breakfast was decent, though.

After moving from Hitakatsu to Izuhara, you can immediately see the Izuhara Hotel Toyoko Inn when you get off at Izuhara Station. You can see Toyoko Inn wherever you go in Izuhara, so it is the tallest building in Izuhara. You can also see Toyoko Inn Hotel from Izuhara Passenger Terminal. There is Tiara Mall and Value Mart right across the hotel entrance, so it was convenient to leave your luggage at the hotel after duty-free shopping. Since it is a hotel where you can also have breakfast, I filled my stomach with Japanese home-cooked breakfast. I think I will definitely stay here again if I visit Izuhara.

This hotel is only a five-minute walk from Nagasaki Station. The room design is fantastic, and the separate toilet and bathroom are my favorite 'Dormy Inn' style. The hot spring bath was also very relaxing, though I missed out on the late-night ramen. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.

Not bad - room was big, view was good and staff were nice. Some things I liked - there’s a Family Mart in the hotel, the tram & bus stop were just in front & parking was JPY1,500 for the 1st day and JPY1,000 for subsequent day with multiple in & out & extended parking to 2pm on check out day. There’s also a free shuttle that can be booked to bring you to Mt Inasa Ropeway. Just a shame that there weren’t eating places or anything interesting to see around the hotel.

The hotel is only a three to four minute walk from the train station, which was a lifesaver for my exhausted self. It's clean, and the brand-new facilities are a refreshing change from typical Japanese hotels. It's also great value for money and super convenient for shopping.

The location is fantastic and easy to find – just off the main road opposite Chinatown, down the street shown in the second picture. There's a supermarket right by the entrance, which is super convenient for grabbing water and snacks. The room itself is quite spacious for Japan, and all the facilities are in good condition.

Due to the favor of the hotel, I had a Japanese-Western style room upgraded. The Japanese-style room was very easy to spend.

Super convenient for the location since it’s right next to the China town and there’s plenty of choices of other type of food as well. The room was quiet and the facilities worked fine. Would recommend it!

AAnonymous UserHotel is near to train station and bus station. About 1 hour by bus to/from Nagasaki airport, 2 hours by train to Nagasaki station. Consider far if want to go to Nagasaki downtown area. It is just beside the theme park so staying here for theme park is ideal. Hotel serves good breakfast and has in-house onsen. The staff was helpful to suggest route for me to go to airport as I need to catch an early flight. Hope to come back again to explore more area around the hotel.

Very Good
__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced. The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant. There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station. There's also a hot spring (onsen).

GGuest UserLocation-wise, the hotel is conveniently right in front of the Ohato Station of the Nagasaki tramway system, and is a very walkable distance away from many attractions including Dejimamachi, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Seaside Park. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was excellent and the front desk receptionists were kind and welcoming. The coin laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers (as of Sept 2025; do note that the coin laundry room feels like a free sauna when at least 4 machines are running), the wifi for guests worked consistently, and the smoke-free policy meant that no areas smelled of smoke. The air conditioning for the rooms was sufficiently cool, the lighting control and mini alarm clock by the bed worked well, and overall the room felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. Because the single room has a relatively narrow entrance walkway, try to avoid bringing multiple pieces of large luggage as there may not be space to open them at the same time. I greatly enjoyed my stay here (especially it being my first solo trip), and would book it again if returning to Nagasaki in the future.

GGuest UserThis is a great hotel, conveniently located near Chuo-bashi (Central Bridge) and Nagasaki Station, with easy access to public transport. The hotel facilities are excellent and comprehensive, including a washing machine and dryer, a large public bath, breakfast service, and a bar. The 3rd and 11th floors offer panoramic city views through their floor-to-ceiling windows. The service is also superb, truly impeccable. One thing to note is that disposable slippers are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own. However, there was one significant issue: my room had a strong body odor smell, and the entire 9th-floor hallway smelled the same. Even opening the window didn't get rid of it, and the air freshener provided by the hotel didn't help either. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

YYoong HoeReally loved my stay at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street. The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s in a converted historic building and the design is just stunning. The highlight for me was the harbor view from the room. Watching the ships and the water was so relaxing and made the stay feel extra special. The location is perfect too; you're right in the historic district by Glover Garden, but still close enough to convenience stores for whatever you need. Between the unique ‘chapel’ restaurant and the modern, comfortable rooms, it’s easily one of the coolest places I’ve stayed. Highly recommend for the views alone!
