"This was the first hotel we stayed at on our right-hand drive trip. We picked it mainly for the huge car park and the relaxing golf course views, which definitely made things a bit less stressful. I booked the most basic room type, and that's exactly what we got – nothing fancy, no extra frills, certainly didn't feel like the 'Western hospitality' I might have expected."

"The hotel is in a very good location, only ten minutes' walk from the city and the station, suitable for travel and business trips. The hotel rooms are very clean and equipped with mineral water, which is actively replaced every day. The window view is also very good, near the castle and prison attractions, with beautiful scenery, and the hotel has its own backyard lawn and leisure space, which is very private. The exterior of the hotel is an ancient castle building, and the interior is also very new and has a sense of design. Overall, it is highly recommended."

"Booked for two nights while visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. The accommodation and location fitted the bill perfectly. Although out of Oxford we had good good routes to all our destinations and the Park and Rides were beneficial. Accommodation as expected - good standard. Dined there one evening - food good and well presented. All staff we encountered were: pleasant, friendly and helpful. Recommended - would book again."

"This motel is quit and comfortable and handily situated on the services. The down side is that you have to pay )5 per day for parking which is not made clear on the Trip app. Only free parking allowed when booking through Ramada website. Trip also allowed me to book a mobility accessible room which it said was on ground floor. However I was told at Reception that that was not possible. Having said all that, we slept well."

"The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Blenheim Palace, which is very convenient. If you are in Oxford the night before, you can stay here and go directly to Churchill Manor the next morning. The house is an old house, but it is quite clean. Better than expected. The only thing that is not satisfactory is the receptionist on the evening of October 5th. Her coldness makes people think that they are in Germany instead of Britain, but as a front desk receptionist, she does not even have the most basic polite greetings (such as hello, welcome) and her attitude is not like a German at all. I have never encountered such service quality in the UK, which is very unprofessional, so I choose 2 points (unsatisfied) for the service. If you don't want to spend money to see a big cold face, you can choose other hotels nearby."

"The location is very good, in the center of Oxford, very convenient to go anywhere, there is a Lanzhou ramen restaurant downstairs, the taste is very good. The room with breakfast is booked, the breakfast is very monotonous, not recommended, there are many supermarkets and restaurants around, you can buy anything to eat. And we left early on the last day, and did not have breakfast. The hotel wins in the location, it is very convenient. The facilities and services are average"

"Lovely old pub with restaurant and staying facilities. Very friendly staff, we were given a double room up a metal staircase and was in the eaves of the building, was pleasant enough but had to be careful of knocking your head on the ceiling getting in and out of bed. Nice size bathroom, no seperate shower, bath on a platform with shower hose, all very nice but as my husband and I are over seventy and quite physically fit we struggled climbing in the bath, so the suitability of this room is not for guests of a certain age. Would stay again but ask for a more suitable room. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice."

"The location is great, right next to a bus stop, and the town is very quiet. The room isn't big but it's quite comfortable. The only issue was a broken window which let in some drafts during my winter stay, but it's not a big problem if it's not raining."

"Self-service check-in is convenient and fast, but the downside is that it is a bit far from the city center. The sanitation and convenience must be improved, because the pillows that night were shocking, and there was a sound of running water from the air conditioner vents, which lasted all night and was very noisy."

It is a good one - however unlike its branch in Egypt, they didnt had shower cap, slippers, bathrub and other stuff in rooms. The staff and their service was really good. The buffet as well wasnt full of vareities as in egypt (no doughnut stand). It was an hour away from sight seeings. Beautiful lounge and bar area

We stayed at room 216. The room is nice and the beds were comfortable. there is a menu for foods to order but there is no phone to contact the reception or the restaurant. During the booking I add in the special request for 3 mugs but there was only 2. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is located in front of the bus stop and it is surrounded with other shops also like tesco.

Good location, surrounding have coffee shop, pub, tesco express, boosts, M&S, sainsbury. Bus station just nearby hotel, short ride to city center. Hotel have air-condioning, usefull during summer stay now.

love this Hotel stayed many times . just a few issues on this visit that didn’t quite get the excellent for me  The aircon on the room wasn’t working I phoned the desk and was told it’s on Heating mode only turn it off and start it again we did but the guy on the desk was unhelpful. also the breakfast was a little lacking this visit we went down at 9.20 and most of the rolls muffins and pastries had gone no bagels and the eggs fried were hard normally there is a menu where you can choose fresh eggs etc but as they had a corporate event on that was not operating so despite a heft y price for the breakfast we didn’t get a very good one . Other than that the service from all staff i. bar ,Reception especially Telma and Phil was excellent

I paid £8 per day for parking through the receptionist at the front desk when I checked in. The next day, when I was checking out and picking up my luggage, I estimated that my parking time had exceeded the limit by over an hour. I specifically asked the receptionist if I needed to pay for a second day of parking. After checking on the front desk computer system, he told me it wasn't necessary and that he had waived the fee for me. I even thanked him for it. It was also my birthday that day, so I was quite happy. However, after returning to China, I received a £60 penalty from Parkmaven and a £35 administration fee from Alamo. This has turned what should have been a pleasant trip to the UK into a very upsetting experience. I am filing this complaint and requesting the hotel compensate me for these related fees.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Blenheim Palace, which is very convenient. If you are in Oxford the night before, you can stay here and go directly to Churchill Manor the next morning. The house is an old house, but it is quite clean. Better than expected. The only thing that is not satisfactory is the receptionist on the evening of October 5th. Her coldness makes people think that they are in Germany instead of Britain, but as a front desk receptionist, she does not even have the most basic polite greetings (such as hello, welcome) and her attitude is not like a German at all. I have never encountered such service quality in the UK, which is very unprofessional, so I choose 2 points (unsatisfied) for the service. If you don't want to spend money to see a big cold face, you can choose other hotels nearby.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, and the facilities were good. I particularly appreciated having everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout, which made the experience even better. The hotel also has a nice atmosphere and is in a convenient location for exploring Oxford and the surrounding area. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

We have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better. The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets. We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

We stayed here as it was in close proximity to Bicester Village and Clarksons Farm. The room and main bar / reception was modern and stylish and the staff were friendly and attentive. The shower was amazing, beds were comfortable. The food in the diner was great but service very slow. Would definitely stay here again.
