Important reminder: The hotel room had absolutely nothing, it was incredibly basic, far exceeding expectations! There wasn't even any drinking water! The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the airport; otherwise, it has no redeeming qualities whatsoever!
The room was spacious and tidy, with modern and complete facilities. The free Wi-Fi signal wasn't very stable. This place is only suitable for a temporary stay if you have an early flight! Avoid this place.
The 24-hour front desk staff were super enthusiastic, patiently and meticulously answering questions about directions and solving problems.

The hotel is conveniently located, there are places nearby where you can go for a walk and have a snack. But there was no air conditioning in the room, it was very hot for us, and when you open the windows, there is a strong noise of the city outside, as this is the main street.
I stayed here for a total of 4 nights and 5 days. This hotel was a little far from tourist attractions, but I am grateful that I was able to stay in a 5-star hotel at a good price. Scales, facilities, breakfasts, and services distinguished this hotel from four-star hotels, and staffs were exceptionally friendly. In particular, artistic architects participated in hotel construction and showed artistic interiors. Staying in a room that is comparable as a work of art was a beautiful experience of travel. I changed the room once during my stay, and the second room was perfect for both artistry and practicality in feeling like boarding a spacecraft. In the second room, I was particularly satisfied with the bathroom facilities. Also, I am especially grateful to all the staff who helped my mother, who got hurt while traveling in Toledo.
It was an amazing experience with this hotel. Also their foods as we took dinner and it taste so good. They are offering free Shuttle services to airport in different timelines. That was awesome!

small room in a hostel close to the metro. central location, air conditioning, hot water, the best thing is that there is a shower room in the room. Quite comfortable beds, clean bed linen, new plumbing. there is a shop on the ground floor. where you can buy many of the things a traveler might need. Nearby there are cafes, snack bars, fruit shops, and others.
at the reception they only spoke to us in Spanish)

This is my second stay. I still think the location of the hotel is great, and the staff is very helpful. I found this time the breakfast options narrowed in some products and expanded in other ones that seem to adapt more to international visitors. I would come back to this hotel in the future if I come back to Madrid.

Great
NNo sugar ,but coffeeThe room was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread was extensive, with options catering to Chinese palates, including local fried dough sticks (youtiao) and dumplings, all of which tasted great. There was also a wide selection of fresh fruit. The only minor downside was the typical European hotel amenity setup – no complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers provided in the room. The location is also excellent, right next to Retiro Park and the Prado Museum.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel was pretty good; they even gave us a free room upgrade! It was the biggest bed we've slept in during our entire trip in Spain!!! However, the shelf in the bathroom felt like it was going to fall during a shower, it wasn't very stable!!! The most important thing was, when we were about to check out, we found a super, unbelievably huge cockroach right at the door!!!!!!!!!!!! That was terrifying!!!!!!!!!! But honestly, it was really good otherwise, they provided 2 bottles of water, and all the amenities like an iron were available!

SSilvio RaponiSo, great location, very good. In the center and close to everything, Plaza Mayor. Services ok, what you need, the gift for hair was missing but it doesn't matter. Positive stay.
LLorenaMolineroThe place is wonderful, clean, well equipped, easy check-in, next to Atocha, super spacious… well decorated… we loved the detail that it had a washing machine and clothesline! It has been a very good experience and both my daughter and I loved it!
MMrWong888After traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay.
The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable.
The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work.
The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day.
The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.
GGuest UserThe hotel is not bad. The bed is big, comfortable, everything for a comfortable stay is there, wi-fi is good. But before that I rented an apartment for the same money closer to the center, I liked them more. However, for one night it is quite possible to stay in this hotel. There is a metro nearby. It is 40-50 minutes to the center on foot, but I went for a walk. The room is old, but clean, you can leave your things for free. However, the hotel has good audibility, you can hear all conversations, but at night no one made noise.
MMariaB12Good location, quiet and safe area. Kitchen to cook but the other residents didn't like it when I tried to use the kitchen. Separate rooms for men and women but I chose to stay in the men's room to be with my son. I never had an issue in there. Some of the staff were kind and some was rude and gossipping to other customers us. The problem was the second day when I tried to use the women”s bathroom when I woke up in the morning -as I was advised to by the staff- and some Latino women didn't allowed me to go to the toilet. I went to the men's bathroom although they didn't like it too using theirs. In the afternoon I went again to take a shower, again in the women's room, and two other Latino women started talking and talking, making recommendations and problem. Again I left. Asked the receptionist about their boss to file a complaint but nowhere to be found. Just like Acacias and Thirty One so in Las Rosas the same boss but hiding. You can”t contact them. The same company owns these three and four more hostels and I realised this is the way they operate. They definitely have a personal issue with me and I don”t know if it is because I am a European citizen and not a Latina or it is something else. But that kind of bullying I've suffered in their hostels is unexceptable and I will not allow it. I will proceed in the court against them as they treat me like they are superior, they bullied me and they have to get what they deserve. So I will see them in court. As for their other hostel Rio who have cancelled our reservations and caused us so much trouble yesterday, I will write my review for them in every detail. So disrespectful and so unprofessional.
