GH Galeria Hotel

Booked as appeared to be in the centre, it was clean but found better and quieter value near to the river. Check-in took ages because they could not find the reservation. I did not find this good value for money for the city, or other places in Ecuador.
Hotel Palace Guayaquil

On Hotels.com picture 2 has a beach. This is not a beach hotel. It isn’t on a beach or near a beach. Picture 9 is the first picture of the exterior with a large, stately palacial building - which is not the hotel. Picture 10 is the second exterior picture- but it’s not the exterior of the hotel, unless they mean the exterior of the hotel is several blocks away. This is a clean, attractive, cheap, comfortable enough hotel near some fun places on a ramshackled street, looking out on to ugly buildings and feels a little sketchy at night. It’s not an old, grand palace on a beautiful beach. It would be a reasonable place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good. The price is unbeatable. However, it’s easy to find a much nicer hotel for only al little bit more. It’s shameful that they put those pictures in their photos, leading viewers to believe the place was something other than what it is. It’s even more shameful that reviewers give 4 and 5 star reviews like it’s a fabulous resort destination!
Radisson Hotel Guayaquil

I have stayed here upwards of 10 times! My grandmother lives at the beach and I fly into Guyaquil and stay at this Radisson every time. They pick you up from the airport always on time and with the utmost courtesy. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. I have family that lives across the street and we all meet here for breakfast to start every family visit. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Slightly old fashioned and then modernised it is an acceptable central mid-range place. Good - the service, always helpful especially the front desk. The rooms are clean but windows can't be opened and in fact while I was there the city council was doing roadworks all night (which is not the fault of the hotel). Comfortable bed and good shower. Wi-Fi was fine in the room and there are lots of sitting spaces around the hotel if you need a change. Average - the breakfast. Nice fruit and juice but the rest of the American breakfast of eggs and croissant or toast was only fair.
Hilton Colon Guayaquil

The breakfast is good, the variety is very good, there are roast pigs to eat, it tastes like a Hong Kong-style suckling pig, very relieved. The location is good, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus on time every hour, and it takes 10 minutes to get to the airport. The service is good overall. You can reserve a local tourist bus at the front desk and then wait for the bus across the road from the hotel according to the agreed time. After about 2 hours, I will return to the pick-up point. The fare is $8. Worth experience. Local security is not good, it is not recommended to take a taxi, it is recommended to use Uber.

The service attitude of the staff is very good and polite. The most surprising thing is the hotel’s breakfast, which is really rich and delicious. The waitress and the chef are very polite and make people feel very happy. Some suggestions, it would be perfect if one-time slippers and electric kettle can be provided in the room.
Courtyard Guayaquil

I was in Ecuador for the first time, my wife surprised me with the trip as a gift. We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil which ended up being a great choice. Kevin Velasquez and his team at the front desk were on point and were able to accommodate any small requests we had. Great friendly customer service and always ready to assist however they could. The hotel was beautiful, clean and secure, you needed a room key to access the elevator. We enjoyed a nice breakfast each morning with both Ecuadorian and US cuisine before we started our day. At the end of the day Adonis and David were always ready to mix up a great old fashion or gin and tonic. We will definitely be visiting/staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil again!

What a surprise this nice little hotel was! We just stayed one night before a flight and it was perfect. It's close to the airport. The desk staff was incredibly nice (and spoke perfect English). The room was clean and simple. The decor isn't anything to write home about--well, maybe the giant mirror along a wall by the bed is notable. But you will feel welcome and safe here. The breakfast was lovely. Just a quirky and sweet little place of excellent value. It's close to the mall so there are plenty of options for getting some dinner nearby as well.
