"I had a very satisfying stay at the IntercityHotel Berlin Airport BER Terminal 1+2. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the airport. It's a short walk from the terminal, which is perfect for travelers catching early flights or arriving late. The room was clean and tidy, and quite spacious. The twin business room had comfortable beds and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a very quiet night's rest. The facilities were comprehensive, and the overall environment was modern and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful; both check-in and check-out were smooth. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and tasted great. Overall, I was extremely pleased with everything, from the location and room comfort to the service. If I'm ever flying from Berlin Airport again, I'll definitely choose to stay here."

"Despite the 10mins long walk on main road to the hotel (they do provide sign to guide you), I really enjoyed my stay that is away from the city. The front desk staffs are very friendly in helping me in renting a bicycle and using their sauna. A great place to unwind and relax with long cycling path. The breakfast is acceptable and filled with choices. The front desk staffs also informed me that they do sell pizza when I come back late one night as everywhere nearby was closed"

"The hotel is near to the Airport BER in a region with several hotels and B+B almost on the meadows. Despite this they still charge you for about 30 Euros parking fee per night. The room is clean but tiny and very basic amenities. There is no bottled water or water kettle or tea and coffee at your room. The breakfast is ok but kind of in the lobby. So for this price which insn‘t cheap you can only expect very basic things. The airport transfer by bus costs 3.5 euros and takes about 7 min bus ride. It leaves every half hour in front of the hotel."

Sodass ins Restaurant im anderen Stickwerk gegangen werden musste, um ein Kaffee zu holen. - Minibar war nicht angeschlossen - Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt, obwohl angegeben - Beschilderung im Hotel irreführend bis fehlend"

"First of all, we have to say that the room was neat and clean. The breakfast was also fine and the location was great. However: We booked a suite with a city view for 4 days. We got a smaller (mini) suite facing the inner courtyard, which we hadn't realized until then because we were given a ”suite” when we checked in. It was only after three days that we realized that we hadn't actually gotten the room we had booked - unfortunately too late. In addition, although we had a small kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle and microwave, there were no plates or glasses, which we had to ask about at reception. The hotel says that it doesn't clean the room until after the second night. This wasn't a problem for us and so we prepared the room accordingly after the second night so that the cleaning staff could work without interruption. In the evening we realized that no one was there. The reception was so full that we couldn't let anyone know. We also assumed that someone would come on the third day at least. The next morning we put up a sign on the door asking for cleaning. In short, no one came again. When we finally went to reception, we were told that this was an external service provider who had carried out the cleaning according to the documents, which of course was not the case! Other guests had also complained about this. Since we had already paid and therefore could not get a refund, we were treated to a drink at the bar and a chocolate bar for breakfast. So our ”suite” was not cleaned once in 4 nights, let alone the trash can emptied. The highlight was when checking out, when I was suddenly asked to pay a bill. After I told them that I had already done this in advance, the receptionist said that this was just a blocking of the amount but that I still had to pay the regular amount. What surprised me most was that the amount did not match my booking at all. When I pointed out again that I had already paid, the receptionist said he had confused me with another guest and that I could leave..."

"Everything was good but, for some reason, they took my toothbrush and toothpaste. After inquiring, they returned my toothbrush but kept my (medicated) toothpaste. Whatever."

"The surroundings are relatively quiet, the room is clean and tidy. Two people checked in, and there was only one pillow and a small quilt at first. After calling the front desk, it was delivered quickly. Compared with the Holiday Inn I stayed in a few days ago, the elevator does not require a card, which is not safe enough, there is no electric kettle, and no USB charging port. So although it is a four-star hotel, there are areas for improvement in management details and decoration details. I guess it is also because it is quite old."
