I'm so glad I started my Xi'an trip here. It really hit all the right spots, to the point where I seriously considered extending my stay for another day… but in the end, I decided to experience other hotels as well. [Location] It's right by Yongning Gate, next to the city wall, perfectly avoiding the city's traffic jams, which is super convenient for those who rely on taxis for getting around. There's also a subway station nearby. Plus, there are tons of delivery options and amazing places to eat, from breakfast to dinner, snacks, bubble tea, BBQ, and late-night eats – you could literally spend all day just eating! It's also a pleasant walk to the Bell Tower. [View] Pull back the curtains and there's the city wall. Whether it's the grandeur of the day or the dazzling lights at night, I could never get enough of it. [Service] The service was absolutely fantastic! It's been a long time since I've experienced such heartwarming service. Every staff member was so enthusiastic and friendly, from the front desk ladies to the aunties in the restaurant. Everyone served with a smile and went out of their way to provide help within their means. [Environment] (1) The decor, design, and murals really resonated with everyone; there are so many photo opportunities within the hotel itself. (2) Even if you don't have a city wall view room, the outdoor bar offers a spectacular view of the city wall. Sitting there watching the sunset, scrolling on your phone, and enjoying afternoon tea – it's incredibly cozy. (3) The small table in the triple room was perfect for ordering takeout with friends, happily eating and chatting, with Xi'an's city wall right outside the window. After a full meal, you can just lean back and feel completely content without even stepping out. However, if you're a workaholic and need to work overtime, the restaurant might be a more convenient spot. (4) The beds, pillows, and bath products were all very well-received. [Facilities] The pillows, bedding, and toiletries were all highly praised. [Activities] They offer airport pick-up and drop-off, a rubbings activity, free Hanfu rental, and there are many foreign guests as well. [Heads-up] For city wall view rooms facing the road, because they primarily feature glass curtain walls and windows, you might hear the sound of motorcycles with loud exhausts. However, since it's not continuous, it didn't affect our sleep. But it could be a concern for those who are sensitive to noise or are very light sleepers. BUT! The front desk thoughtfully provides earplugs! [Other] When I checked in, it felt like there weren't many guests. Perhaps it's because the price is relatively higher? Or maybe there are too many hotels in the vicinity, leading to intense competition and diverting some guests. However, with the amazing view + cultural experience + airport transfer + excellent service + great location + wonderful ambiance, I feel like it's hard to beat.

The hotel's location is great, super convenient for taking the subway or a taxi. Everything about it is excellent, really good value for money! The staff are enthusiastic and lively, providing fantastic service. They really understand what young people are looking for. Not only do they patiently answer all your questions, but they also proactively recommend sightseeing and dining routes, making you feel as comfortable as if you were with friends. The travel package I booked also had no complicated procedures, making the whole trip easy and relaxed. Downstairs from the hotel, there are BBQ spots, local specialty snacks, and even trendy网红 (wanghong/influencer-style) shops, all just a few minutes' walk away. Carbs galore, a paradise for carb lovers!!! Xi'an's noodles are truly delicious 😋😋😋😋😋😋 Overall, whether you're traveling with company or solo, this place is an unparalleled choice. I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel was wonderful❤️🔥. Huge thanks to Xiao Lan, Rir and the entire hotel staff for making our stay so comfortable — the team truly does everything possible to ensure guests feel welcome and cared for. The hotel interior, especially the courtyard, is absolutely beautiful, and the room was both comfortable and functional. The breakfasts were delicious — we especially appreciated the fresh vegetables and fruits, since they can sometimes be hard to find in Chinese cafes 😁 The rooftop also offers a stunning view of the city. Our stay included an afternoon tea and a hanfu photoshoot, which were such lovely bonuses ☺️ The location is also excellent — the hotel is situated in a vibrant area full of interesting cafés and artisan shops, and many attractions are within walking distance.

I highly recommend staying at the Jiaya Hotel. The location is super convenient; it's a 2-minute walk to the subway station, and Wanda Plaza is just across the street. Behind the hotel, there's a snack street with tons of food options. The room was very clean, and the TV was a Xiaomi, which allowed screen casting, so the amenities were quite complete. The front desk mentioned they also have a media room with a large screen, which I'll definitely try next time. There are free washing machines and dryers on the 2nd floor. If you don't know how to use them, you can ask the front desk. I washed a t-shirt and wanted to iron it, but couldn't figure it out. The front desk staff kindly helped me iron it flat. The housekeeping auntie was very warm and friendly. Since there were a few of us in the room, we ran out of water, and she noticed and brought us several more bottles, saying we could contact her anytime if we needed more. Highly recommended!

This guesthouse at the foot of Mount Hua is a real hidden gem, so authentic and down-to-earth! The owner is incredibly warm and genuine, the rooms are spotless, and their shuttle service is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. It's a comfortable and relaxing stay, my top pick for climbing Mount Hua. I truly recommend it!

On my first night, the front desk lady with short hair was really kind and even helped me inquire about my delivery. However, the older woman with glasses who took over in the morning was very unfriendly. The hotel advertised a washing machine, but there was no dryer, which makes doing laundry inconvenient. When I asked the woman with glasses how to use it, she was very agitated and impatient. Downstairs, there were also people from other travel agencies, dressed in suits, trying to sell tours. They didn't initially state they were from a travel agency, which led me to mistakenly think they were hotel staff. As for the food, the hotel partners with another restaurant, and the selection is very limited. After about two days, you won't want to eat there anymore because it's always the same repetitive dishes. The location is great though. Right outside the hotel, there are many night market food stalls, and it's a very short walk to the subway station.

My wife and I had a lively stay at the Eastern House Boutique Hotel in X'ian. The location is within walking distance to the Muslin Quarters, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, City Walls and the Morning market! The room is spacious, clean and the staffs were very accommodating. The decor was up to date. One of my two recommendations for the hotel is to notify AMap that their English name is not listed in their application, only in Chinese or have their front desk personnel point out their Chinese hotel name so it will be more convenient for their guests to get around. The second recommendation is the hall-way area needed to be better ventilated.

I stayed at the Orange Feather Orange Hao Hotel for four nights during my trip to Xi'an, and it was by far the best accommodation of my entire journey! The hotel is right next to Yongning Gate (South Gate City Wall), so the location is absolutely unbeatable. I could open my window and look directly at the ancient city wall, waking up to the sunrise over Yongning Gate every morning. In the evenings, a short stroll allowed me to enjoy the city wall's night view. The hotel is also just a few minutes' walk from Metro Line 2, and SKP is right across the street, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the major attractions. Everything – travel, food, and entertainment – was so accessible! The room hygiene was meticulously maintained; the entire room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with comfortable bedding. For a prime location in the city center, the value for money is exceptional – it's affordable and well worth it. The service was attentive too. This will be my top choice when visiting Xi'an again, and I'll definitely be staying here on my next trip!
