"The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and the room amenities were excellent. You can use facial recognition to unlock your door, which is very high-tech and convenient. After a long day of sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to the hotel and use their foot bath service – a really thoughtful touch. The location is perfect, right near Leijie Street. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hefei."

Hotel near On the mountain,Huangshan City
The Xihai Hotel (Huangshan Xihai Fandian) is located on the foot of Danxia Peak, at the entrance of the Xihai Valley. A number of restaurants serve local Anhui dishes along with delicacies from other regions. Guests can also enjoy a drink at coffee shop or bar. Meeting facilities and a business center are available at this Huang Shan hotel for those needed professional services.Guests in this Huang Shan hotel can go to the disco in their free time.

"Located on the back mountain, the room wasn't huge, but the service was excellent – they were very responsive to all our requests. We had both the lunch buffet and breakfast, and the food was good. The sunrise and sea of clouds probably aren't as impressive as from Bright Summit. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog this time, we couldn't see anything. There was an evening performance. Huangshan is incredibly tough to climb; it's constant ups and downs over mountains and ridges, leaving my legs aching. The West Sea monorail only offered standing tickets. Taking the Yuping cable car up is the classic route, passing by the Greeting Pine, Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder, and either Aoyu Cave or One-Line-Sky to reach Aoyu Peak, then continuing to Bright Summit. For someone nearing fifty, just looking at the route feels challenging. The weather in Huangshan changes rapidly; one moment it was clear blue skies, and the next, dense fog rolled in."

Hotel near On the mountain,Huangshan City
"## A Relaxed 2-Day Huangshan Itinerary with a 6-Year-Old This time, I took my child to Mount Huangshan and chose to stay at the newly renovated Beihai Hotel on the mountaintop, which far exceeded my expectations. The hotel reopened after renovation in 2025, and the rooms are equipped with a coffee machine, Bose sound system, calf massager, and smart toilet. A calf massage after hiking was a lifesaver! The room also provides down jackets and flashlights, so you won't freeze watching the sunrise. The butler proactively informs guests of sunrise and sunset times and meeting points, with a leader guiding everyone. **Day 1: Easy Hike on the Back Mountain** From Tangkou Transfer Center, take the scenic bus to Yungu Temple, then the Yungu Cable Car up the mountain (10 minutes, saving 2 hours of climbing). Walk about 30 minutes to Beihai Hotel to drop off luggage and rest. For lunch, you can bring your own self-heating pot, instant noodles, or snacks. *Afternoon: Relaxed Hike with the Kids* Hotel → Shuguang Pavilion → Qingliang Terrace → Monkey Gazing at the Sea. This route offers expansive views, and Monkey Gazing at the Sea is one of Huangshan's classic bizarre rocks. The entire trip takes about 1.5 hours, with gentle slopes that aren't tiring. Upon returning to the hotel, you can enjoy the complimentary Hanfu photo experience or afternoon tea. If you still have energy, you can continue: Hotel → Pen Holder Peak → Umbrella Pine → Black Tiger Pine → Shixin Peak. Shixin Peak is an excellent spot to see unique pines, with a round trip of about 1.5 hours. In the evening, after the hotel buffet (198 yuan/person), you can try making incense seals and interacting with NPCs in the lobby for small gifts, which the kids loved. *Reminder*: The hotel organizes guided trips to Shixin Peak for sunset daily (around 6:30 PM, depending on sunset time). A leader will guide the way, so you don't have to navigate in the dark. **Day 2: Classic Front Mountain Highlights** Morning: Watch the sunrise (organized by the hotel, waking up around 4 AM, specific times will be announced by the hotel in advance) → Return to the hotel for more rest, breakfast, and check-out at 11 AM → Walk about 1 hour to Bright Summit (the second-highest peak in Huangshan, offering expansive views of Lotus Peak and Flying Stone; there's a restaurant at Bright Summit for lunch, or you can bring your own food) → Aoyu Peak → Hundred-Step Ladder (steep downhill, protect your knees) → Greeting-Guests Pine → Yuping Cable Car down the mountain → Dinner in Tangkou Town. **🎒 Essential Packing List** ID card, power bank (20000 mAh recommended), sun hat + sunglasses, trekking poles (adjustable ones are recommended, use two poles), knee pads (essential for downhill), non-slip hiking shoes, disposable raincoat, water bottle (drinking water is available on the mountain), hard-shell jacket, quick-dry clothes and long pants, light snacks like chocolate/energy bars, trash bags (you must carry your trash down the mountain). **⚠️ Important Notes** 1. **Book Tickets and Cable Car in Advance**: Huangshan operates on a system of ”limited capacity, reservation, and staggered entry.” Make sure to purchase tickets on the official platform in advance. 2. **Layering Strategy**: There's a big temperature difference between day and night on the mountain. ”Onion-style” layering is recommended: a quick-dry shirt + hard-shell jacket is usually sufficient. The hotel provides down jackets for sunrise, so you don't need to carry a heavy coat. 3. **Tips for Traveling with Kids**: The route from the back mountain up and the front mountain down generally has fewer crowds. The back mountain is gentler, suitable for the first day to adapt. The front mountain has many steps, so let your 6-year-old rest when tired, no need to rush. 4. **Dining**: Prices are high on the mountaintop. You can bring some dry food. The buffet dinner is recommended and good value for money. The biggest advantage of staying on the mountaintop is enjoying the tranquility after the crowds disperse in the morning and evening, and having the magnificent Huangshan sunrise and sunset all to yourself."

Upon check-in, they provided slippers and a kaleidoscope for the child, as well as a welcome fruit platter. When checking out, we received a bag of souvenirs. The restaurant on the first floor offers a wide variety of dishes, and all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, are incredibly friendly. Thumbs up! 👍 My child had a great time! 🥳 Food delivery is brought up to the room by a robot, which is a nice touch. It would be even better if the scent in the hallway was a bit milder."

"❤️ Most of the hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and they even gave my child a small snack bag when we checked in. Someone also helped us with the elevator. Most of the buffet staff were quite warm and attentive. The bartenders in the executive lounge and the staff member who was in charge of tidying up the afternoon tea dessert area were excellent. The swimming pool is superb! On the day we checked in, the pool attendants during the day – a middle-aged male staff member and a young male staff member – were both incredibly thoughtful! We didn't have swim caps, so they brought us spare ones. They even offered to inflate the swimming ring I bought! ⭕ On the average side: The welcome fruit didn't arrive for a long time on the day of check-in. It only came after I prompted them via WeChat two hours after checking in. ❌ On the negative side: The staff member behind the front desk at the entrance of the executive lounge on the day of check-in was not enthusiastic at all. After we finished eating and left, she acted as if she didn't see us as we walked past her, offering no polite farewell. This made us feel very uncomfortable."

"I highly recommend the Shangri-La Hefei! My recent business trip was absolutely flawless, and I have to give a special shout-out to Sara from Guest Relations. Even before I arrived, I coordinated my check-in needs with Sara. She was incredibly professional and attentive, proactively confirming my arrival time. Knowing I had business meetings, she specially arranged a high-floor room with a great view and even kindly upgraded my room type free of charge. The room itself was spacious and tidy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring I could relax peacefully after a busy day. During my stay, Sara was always quick to respond to any questions, meticulously explaining the hotel's amenities: a 24-hour heated gym, an indoor pool, and afternoon tea at the Horizon Club Lounge. The breakfast buffet at Cafe Wan offered a rich variety, and the local Huainan Beef Soup was authentically delicious. Housekeeping kept my room spotless daily. The welcome fruit and handwritten card left in my room upon arrival truly showed their thoughtful attention to detail. Excellently located, the hotel offers free parking for self-drivers and convenient EV charging stations. The entire staff, from front desk to concierge, provided warm and courteous service, perfectly embodying the Shangri-La's commitment to guest care. Sara, in particular, was gentle and thorough, following up on my stay throughout and providing service that was just right, never intrusive. I will definitely choose this hotel again for future business trips or leisure stays in Hefei. I sincerely recommend it to all business travelers!"

The best hotel during my trip to China. The room was clean, well-organized, and new. The breakfast was excellent, delicious, and varied. The staff were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day, and they offered me hot water upon arrival and turned on the heating before I entered the room. On the second day, they kindly helped me arrange a taxi. Small gestures, but very important. By the way, I travel a lot and stay in a different hotel almost every day, but I truly felt the need to thank this wonderful staff. Mercure Hotels will always be my first choice.

I stayed at the Funley International Hotel in Hefei's Economic Development Zone, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is very convenient, with Metro Line 7 providing direct access to the hotel. There are plenty of attractions and shopping malls nearby; Huizhou Garden and the Oceanarium are right next door. A two-stop metro ride gets you to Sam's Club, and the Zhengda Plaza and Zhonghuan City offer a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The front desk staff were warm and polite; they even offered bottled water on a hot day. The restaurant's food was delicious, and with three meals included in the room rate, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at.

The butler was very responsive. We were picked up by a shuttle bus to the cable car station inside the scenic area. When we came down, they were waiting for us at the cable car parking lot in advance. The hotel is very close to the Yuping cable car. The hotel environment is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel's tea room experience was also fantastic, with a dedicated tea master providing service. The restaurant within the hotel has amazing food; it was the best we've had in Huangshan. The service was also great, including free laundry service, with our clothes delivered back to the room after drying. A very good stay overall.

We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. If you are traveling with family, visiting Jiuhua Mountain for the first time, or simply looking for a place where you can truly relax and feel supported, this is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality, worry-free experience.

You can truly feel that this isn't just a perfunctory business operation; they've truly dedicated themselves to creating an exceptional product and service. The furnishings and daily amenities in the rooms are of high quality, and everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn every corner, both indoors and out in the courtyard. Nestled against the mountain, enveloped by mist and clouds, the entire hotel exudes a unique tranquility found only in the mountains and forests—peaceful and restorative. Every staff member here looks relaxed and treats guests with warmth and enthusiasm. There's no forced politeness, just perfectly attentive service. My personal butler was especially thoughtful, always anticipating my minor needs in advance, making me feel completely at ease and well cared for. I wasn't feeling well and casually mentioned wanting some millet porridge. They went out of their way to arrange it. These small acts of kindness are what truly touch the heart. They say Shilin Cliffs is the best hotel in Huangshan, and experiencing it firsthand, I now understand that this reputation is well-deserved. The price is indeed on the higher side, but all the wonderful experiences complement each other perfectly. The excellent environment, thoughtful details, and attentive service all justify the cost. It’s rare to find such a comfortable and soothing haven in the mountains, a place to slow down and find peace. It was a comfortable and truly healing stay, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will choose this place again.

The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Facilities: The room had plenty of hot water, and there was a foot bath, a fan, and a TV that all worked. The internet connection was also smooth. Hygiene: It was clean and tidy; I didn't see any of the insects I'd feared encountering in the mountains. Environment: The rooms in Area A had excellent views; you could see the Aofeng Ridge direction right outside the window. The hotel's location is not far from Bright Summit and Aofeng Ridge, making it suitable for watching sunrises and sunsets. Additionally, the West Sea Grand Canyon train station is not too far from the hotel, so the location is very convenient. Service: The butler service was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, responding patiently and thoroughly throughout my stay. They also provided complimentary drinks and souvenirs. When I had an upset stomach in the middle of the night and encountered an emergency, the butler immediately contacted hotel security to light the way and guide me to a health clinic not far from the hotel. This was particularly reassuring and touching.

It's a little far from Namdaemun, about ten minutes' drive, but the owner of the B&B is very nice, pick up and drop off. I arrived a day in advance and wanted to store my luggage up the mountain. I called and he immediately drove to move my luggage. It was very quick, so it's no problem if you don't drive yourself. The room is relatively new and clean, and there is a large terrace. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it

I was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!
