Nett an einem See gelegenes Hotel inmitten einer schönen und gepflegten Anlage. Unser Zimmer war groß und hatte einen Balkon direkt über dem See. Sehr bequemes Bett, gute Klimaanlage, alle Fenster mit Moskitonetzen. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Pool und viele Sitzmöbel im Garten. Täglicher Zimmerservice, Gratiswasser, Poolhandtücher. Ich empfand die Nähe zur lauten Straße in den frühen Morgenstunden als störend. Es gibt ein schönes offenes Restaurant, auch direkt am See gelegen, auf das man angewiesen ist, wenn man, wie wir, ohne Auto unterwegs ist. Es ist wirklich sehr schade, dass in dem relativ hohen Zimmerpreis kein Frühstück enthalten ist. Das Frühstück, das man für BZD 17 bekommt, ist nicht sehr gut und ziemlich wenig. Bootstouren zu den Mayaruinen von Lamanai sind direkt vom Hotel aus möglich und sehr empfehlen, wenn auch relativ teuer.
