We had an unforgettable evening on the grounds of this hotel. You can buy food for the parrots and wallabies right at the reception desk, which was such a fun experience. We were also able to easily wash and dry our clothes. The cabins were clean, in excellent condition, and everything was working perfectly.

I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. Highlights • Beautiful bay views from the room • Impeccable cleanliness • Super comfortable bed • The Birdcage Bar: great cocktails & vibe • Would happily stay again! Tip: Be sure to request a room with a bay view - it’s worth it!

I booked just for 2 nights. After first night in a morning I made my bed and went to hiking. When I came someone occupied my bed saying that it was empty. Tried to show my belongings parked nearby and it was time wasting. So I advise people who planning to stay there put some of your stuff on bed to show that this is your bed otherwise some ”special” people can argue with you. My bottle of wine disappeared in common kitchen. Stuff was friendly and helpful 🙂

The hotel's location is excellent. Not only is it the first stop for the SkyBus, but it also offers unbeatable sea views. The market, museum, and park are all within walking distance. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and the rooms are cleaned meticulously. The hotel breakfast is delicious, and there are many dining options nearby. In short, everything you need for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing is conveniently accessible. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room on the top floor, which was a lifesaver for our four or five-day stay. Check-out was also a breeze. You do need to bring your own slippers, though. I especially want to commend their room key booklet. Unlike other hotels that just give you a sleeve, theirs is a travel booklet filled with recommendations for great restaurants, tourist attractions, and even includes booking phone numbers and email addresses. They've put so much thought into it! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.

The room was spacious, view was good, location perfect. There was car park next to hotel, but fee was expensive. Overall everything was excellent, I will consider this hotel next time. Staff was very nice & helpful. The bed was so comfy. If there is bath tub, that will be perfect!

The hotel entrance is quite unassuming. On the evening of our arrival, our flight was delayed, and by the time we reached the hotel, the ground floor entrance was already locked. We wouldn't have known how to get in if not for a returning guest, who also informed us that check-in was on the fourth floor. On our first day, the bed was only partially made, which was quite puzzling. However, housekeeping properly made the bed on the following days. Overall, the value for money is decent. We only had breakfast once, but it was quite varied and substantial. The location is excellent, and I would still recommend staying here.

This hotel is at a great location in St Helens. It is really good value for money so I did not expect much. The essential amenities were provided and the room was equipped with kitchen utensils like toaster and dishes. The only thing I was not entirely happy with was the noise. This is because the room is on first floor facing the street. Overall I am satisfied with the stay.

It’s an amazing experience staying in MACq, especially if you rent an electric car, their valet parking will help you to recharge your car when you finish your day, which makes you really hustle free time handle the parking and refilling gasoline. Also their restaurant is beautiful too, great food and wine with nice hospitality😊 Should be the second-to-none choice in Hobart!

GGuest UserWe arrived late at night, about 10pm. I had tried to call to find out reception times but had had no luck getting through. Thankfully reception was open until midnight and check in was fast and efficient. The amenities where spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The accommodation pods are on stilts and there is some movement if people are walking around but it didn’t bother us at all. Our room (king bed) had a nicely appointed bathroom, nothing huge but still spacious enough, a large cupboard and an area with tea and coffee making facilities , the bedroom was huge with one whole wall of sliding glass doors which in summer would be amazing for opening up to the veranda which is full length. Fantastic views of the animal paddock and the ocean. All the staff we dealt with where so friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that the website has no contact phone number details that I could find and the number I got through Trip.com didn’t seem to work, just went to message bank, and there was no details on the website about reception times. The blinds in our room have a reasonable gab between them so a fair bit of light came though in the morning. I’m a light sleeper if it’s not pitch black so I woke early but nothing too concerning. Both easy fixes for the company to make. The accommodation pods have five rooms in them, so excellent for extended family vacations where everyone gets their own space but are all close by. The restaurant and cafe have fantastic views. There is a huge kids playground but I only saw it from a distance. It looked very nice from what I could see. There is animal feeding tours which would great for young families and grandkids. Highly recommend for a lovely quite holiday. Also on the plus side, very close to the airport and Hobart.

MMindi1211A hotel in Cradle Mountain National Park. A small, independent villa. It's very convenient to go to various attractions. I stayed there for two. I bought my own ingredients at a nearby supermarket. I can cook. There are restaurants but they need to be booked in advance. The scenery is great and the air is fresh. The bunk beds are a bit inconvenient, but the kids like it.

GGuest UserThe room was comfortable and well-appointed with a nice view, and the hotel has a subtle warmth to its decor. The check in staff and concierge were friendly and helpful. The main Italian restaurant is quite good and the breakfast was well done. The bar is trying too hard to be trendy and the service speaks more to arrivistes than guests just looking to enjoy a drink or solo meal—honestly rather disappointing. Overall it would seem the best option in Hobart and quite strong for a small city, though I’m not sure on what list they could claim to be top 50… Aman or Rosewood or a Peninsula it is not.

Zzq&qqIt's very stylish, and it looks like a very old house at first glance. You can take photos everywhere, and it’s convenient to park early. There’s a huge wine supermarket nearby. The bed is also very retro, and little people have to climb on it

WwinkwanThis is my first time staying at a Movenpick hotel. The hotel is new & modern. The location is close to Skybus drop out point & Visitor Information Centre. Check in was very smooth & fast. Room was spacious, clean & tidy. It's quiet to sleep through the night. There was one incident that someone ordered a wrong room service to my room, I told the lady it was not mine & she left. However, when I check out, it's still on my bill. The lady said she would handle it immediately. Then I left my luggage for storage before my flight, and when I went back to pick up my things hours later, I checked with another concierge lady, the charge has been canceled, so nothing had been charged to my card. They were all very nice & helpful. During my stay, I tried their free desserts at the lobby once (3:30-4:30pm daily). They were generous to provide quite some varieties for tasting, and they were fresh & yummy.

MMattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

GGuest UserWhile the room is a bit small, it's incredibly well-equipped, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff were very polite, always asking if we needed the room cleaned or any amenities, and they were genuinely warm and attentive. The room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hotel is centrally located in the city, yet it was surprisingly quiet at night.

Very prompt and courteous customer service Potential safety hazard for kids with very hot water supply in the showers. Continental buffet breakfast was good, and the kitchen as well as staff kept pace with the service. Has secure paid parking onsite.
