Discovering this Zen-inspired hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Wenshu Monastery area was truly the most delightful surprise of my Chengdu trip! Stepping into the courtyard, I was immediately soothed by the grey tiles, white walls, dry landscape garden, and rustic wooden decor. The 'Buddhist Affinity' screen in the lobby and the Four-Faced Buddha statues exuded a tranquil Zen charm, and even the staff's 'Namaste' greetings were incredibly gentle. The room featured a Chinese Zen design with solid wood furniture and a tea set by the window. The bedding was so soft that I slept soundly all night, and from the balcony, I could catch glimpses of the traditional Western Sichuan folk houses in the alleyways. The location is absolutely perfect; it's a 5-minute walk to Wenshu Monastery subway station, surrounded by hot pot restaurants and snack stalls, and just a 10-minute taxi ride to Chunxi Road. Although the breakfast was simple, it was exquisite, offering vegetarian dishes alongside Western pastries, and even the freshly ground coffee was rich and fragrant. The staff also proactively recommended authentic local eateries and hidden gems. To find such a tranquil and conveniently located retreat in the midst of the bustling city, offering both serene Zen ambiance and easy access to urban life, is incredible value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu!

I absolutely have to rave about this guesthouse! We stayed here for several nights in Jiuzhai and had an amazing experience.
First, a huge shout-out to the owner. Our child suffered from altitude sickness during the night, and the owner immediately brought over Rhodiola Rosea and an oxygen tank. When our plans changed and we needed to shorten our stay by a day, the owner readily agreed without any fuss. The driver recommended by the owner was also very reliable. Oh, and the owner's tea is incredibly fragrant – I even got to sample some, haha!
Now, for the location: it's super convenient. It's easy to get to both the Jiuzhai Scenic Area and Chongqia Ice and Snow World, and the town itself isn't as bustling as the area right at the gorge entrance. The guesthouse is located at the end of a road, making it a peaceful retreat amidst the activity.
The guesthouse has its own spacious courtyard where we even played badminton. You can also see snow-capped mountains from the guesthouse. Plus, there are two adorable and friendly 'lucky cats' – I even got to pet them, which made me happy! We booked a family room, which was very spacious with large beds that were just the right firmness. There's also underfloor heating, and the room was spotlessly cleaned every day.

Facilities: The first floor houses the bar and the check-in area, which is immediately visible upon entering. The third floor is for accommodation and is very quiet.
Cleanliness: The four-person room I stayed in had a private bathroom, which was excellent and very clean. The mattress and bedding were also very comfortable.
Atmosphere: This place attracts a lot of foreigners. You can see many of them at the downstairs bar, and there's live music, which I couldn't resist going down to listen to in the evening. It's also very convenient for Chengdu's popular attractions. Whether you want to experience a unique hostel vibe or simply need a place to stay, it's a perfect fit.
Service: The front desk staff were friendly during check-in and informed me about the free coffee available from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

The best accommodation after our trip along the Western Sichuan Loop! The cleanliness is superb; the bathroom even had a separate bottle of alcohol for guests to use for extra disinfection. The location is excellent, right next to Observation Deck No. 1, offering a stunning view of the entire ******* village, truly like a secluded paradise. The service deserves full marks; the owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, with extensive experience in Western Sichuan, and can provide honest ratings for nearby attractions. If you're looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle and find a place to unwind in a paradise-like setting, this is truly a great choice. I'm so glad I chose to stay here over the other hotel in Danba.

The B&B is right by the road, easy to find, and quiet at night. Since it's the off-season, there weren't many people, so it was very peaceful. The temperature difference between morning and evening was quite significant, but the floor heating was on all day, making it very warm. The only downside was that the bathroom lighting was too dim, which isn't very convenient for women trying to do their makeup or skincare. Also, the toilet isn't smart and doesn't have a heating function, so it felt a bit cold. On a positive note, the tea room on the ground floor of the hotel is really nicely decorated and quite stylish.

The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities. Although a bit dated, the inn's decor was cozy, just the way I like it. The owner, along with her son, met us at the parking lot and helped with our luggage, which was very much appreciated. The inn is very close to the main attractions of the ancient town, just a few minutes' walk away. We stayed on the second floor, where there was a dedicated tea area, and our family had a very enjoyable Dragon Boat Festival. It's a shame they're closing after October this year. I wish the owner a happy and carefree life ahead!
The entire courtyard is quiet and tastefully decorated. The room is a family-friendly one, located in the inner courtyard. The ambiance is excellent. The sofa area is separated from the bedroom. While not very spacious, it's comfortable and clean, with good air conditioning.
The service was very friendly, including welcome fruit. They answered all questions, also known as ”Bi Lai.” The room also has its own cafe, and the Bingmei 15 is quite good.
The downsides are that the water pressure from the electric water heater isn't very strong, and the mattress on the 1.5-meter king-size bed is a bit firm, but the 1.2-meter bed is fine.

When I stayed at the Mount Emei Viewing Hot Spring Hot Spring House, the overall experience was unforgettable.
First of all, the environment of the soup house is really beautiful.
Secondly, the facilities at the soup house were also great, the hot spring pool in the room was clean and comfortable, the water quality was very good when bathing, and there was a hot spring bath combination that allowed me to thoroughly relax my body and mind.
Furthermore, in terms of service, the staff was very friendly and helpful, carrying our luggage to the room for us, as well as fruit and pastries. Their enthusiasm made me feel at home and there was help available at any time to make my stay even better.
Finally, the cleanliness level, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room, all the facilities were well maintained, which made me feel reassured and comfortable.
Overall, this post-stay experience was very pleasant, I highly recommend Mount Emei Viewing Hot Spring Hot Spring House, whether you are relaxing or enjoying the beautiful scenery, it is well worth a visit!

I love this place where the staff always help me on everything such as since I had arrived, they came immediately without asking. They offer assistance to carry bag and recommend hotel detail with completely understand. The hotpot in the restaurant in the hotel is very good. The taste so good and the pancake is so nice as well when we eat along with yogurt.
In the next day, they called taxi for us to go Bipenggou. Then we forgot the pancake on the taxi, the hotel staff has good assistance to call taxi to send us without cost.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is at a fairly good location, just 5 minutes walk near discover jiuzhai and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. We booked a normal double room, but they upgraded it to a premium room. The booking also include free breakfast in the nice lobby and one free ride to the scenic area. The hotel room only provide disposable towels, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it made our stay in jiuzhai very comfortable.

GGuest UserThe inn is in the ancient city, an authentic old neighborhood, there are many restaurants around, there is a place to park. It was from Huanglong when he entered the ancient city that Gaode Navigation guided a trail that could only pass a car, and it was a bit scary. The ancient city is not big and it is very convenient to go shopping.

GGuest UserChengdu is one of my favorite cities in China , the tea culture and other cultural opportunities , parks and a great transport system .
I have also stayed at Holly’s previously many years ago .. the staff are always very helpful as my language skills are not good . Many staff speak English well and those who may not be fluent in English still are very helpful.
There is a metro relatively close by and also staff helped me get a didi to the south railway station where i could catch the line 18 metro airport express to Tianfu International airport ( 24 hour service ) for 10rmb for about a 45 min ride such a bargain !
The rooms for price are also good , quiet , good aircon , functional , laundry facilties , breakfast and the location really is great across from a beautiful traditional park that also has a temple and at night a great food market ..
the area of Wouhouci is also an interesting diverse area with incredible shops and many eating local eating places and its easy to get into the city centre by walking or transport
NniniverseThe room was clean, in a great location with beautiful views. There were many restaurants and shops nearby. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Jiuzhaigou park ticket office. The owner was very kind and took great care of us until check-out. Highly recommended!
MM498886****Pros: Close to the entrance of the valley; there are eateries downstairs, but the breakfast at the place on the left downstairs was mediocre, and the noodle shop across the street was just so-so. They offer a shuttle service to the scenic area entrance around 6 AM. The bed quality is good, and the mattress is comfortable, so I slept well.
Cons: The facilities are outdated, especially the air conditioning. The heating wasn't working, and I only found out after calling the owner that you have to manually adjust the vents.
