The location of the B&B is good, on the edge of Qixing Lake, and there are scenic spots outside. The decoration is also quite unique, and they are responsible for picking up at the station. The proprietress is quite enthusiastic and gave me souvenirs when I left. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the room I stayed in is too small, and the facilities are not complete. Everything is placed on the floor or windowsill. It is much more comfortable to stay in a hotel at the same price. I decisively canceled the next day's stay and moved to the hotel.

1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square 2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night 3) there’s a lift and a laundry area downstairs 4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you 5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. There’s minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm it’s quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic 6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (下水门） gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel 7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward . Will definitely stay there again when in chaozhou

The inn is right in Paifang Street, just a three-minute walk from Guangji Gate, making it super convenient for watching the light show and visiting Guangji Bridge. Our room was on the second floor, accessible by elevator. It was very spacious, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. It even came with a smart toilet, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The owner was really welcoming; they upgraded our room for free, and when we mentioned wanting to make tea, they even gave us extra bottles of mineral water.

The service and environment were both excellent. The room's cleanliness was truly outstanding, spotless, giving you that feeling of being right at home. It made me feel very secure and at ease; a really great experience overall!

The service was absolutely fantastic, super friendly and helpful staff. The place is pretty, clean and the room is comfortable. However there was a strange thing happened in my room— there were tiny flies, a lot of them on the towels. But the second day the flies were gone. I just asked to change the towels cause it wasn’t too bad but because the service is amazing I didn’t think it was a big problem because you can always communicate nicely with them. Thank you for having us would recommend this place if anyone wants to stay somewhere in the suburbs. I was hoping the swimming pool would be open but it wasn’t I guess because it was in the winter season.

This place is incredibly comfortable! I've been searching for a guesthouse where I could truly relax, and I've finally found it! You can just sit and gaze at the sea, letting your mind wander, without even needing to go out – it's a heavenly spot! All the stress from work just melted away the moment I saw this view! Absolutely full marks, it's fantastic!! We stayed for three days and two nights, and our housekeeper, Dian Dian, was super nice! The service was thoughtful, always responding promptly, and the other staff were very friendly too! The butler service, amenities, and even the toiletries provided by the guesthouse were incredibly considerate! The environment and hygiene were excellent – very clean! The restaurant here, with its breakfast and afternoon tea, was so exquisite! I'm someone who travels spontaneously and loves experiencing new places, and this is the first time I've felt sad to check out, hahaha! This calls for my very first positive accommodation review! 😎

The ambiance here is wonderful, and it's housed in a beautiful, historic building. It's the perfect spot to brew some tea and enjoy a relaxed chat. My only minor concern was that it felt a bit quiet at night, and I was a little uneasy by myself. However, the inn staff were incredibly kind and helpful! They even turned on extra lights and offered to keep me company at the front desk, which I truly appreciated. Haha, thanks! If you're visiting Chaozhou, you absolutely must stay at Zaiyang Inn!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is easy to find and very convenient for transport. The lobby is clean and grand. Our room was thoroughly cleaned, with no strange odors, and all the facilities worked perfectly. There was plenty of hot water, the mattress was just right (not too soft, not too hard), and the soundproofing was good too. The staff were all very kind and polite, and responded quickly to our requests. Overall, it was a clean and comfortable stay, making it my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

Before our trip, I extensively researched recommended hotels. I noticed that even the top-ranked hotels and B&Bs often had quite a few negative reviews. As I'm particularly concerned about hygiene and whether rooms have any odd smells, I usually start by looking at negative comments, especially those concerning cleanliness. Many reviews mentioned moldy smells or unclean rooms. Later, I stumbled upon 'Mi Yu Shi Guang' on Xiaohongshu. I then checked its reviews on Ctrip, and it seemed their hygiene standards were quite good. After much deliberation, we decided to give this place a try. I even mentally braced myself before arriving, haha! Upon check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The overall environment immediately felt very comfortable and inviting. When we got to our room, my first impression was how pleasant it was – absolutely no strange odors. It was also spotlessly clean. My son absolutely loved it too, and the service was excellent! The only downside is that there are relatively few facilities for children. Since it was too hot to go to the beach, we ended up staying at the hotel watching movies, and there weren't many activities for the little ones. Overall, I'm still very satisfied and would definitely recommend it to friends. We'll be returning next time, primarily because the hygiene was genuinely impeccable.

This guesthouse has a truly unique character. The rooms are impeccably designed, and the owner is warm and welcoming, offering attentive service. The room rate includes butler service, breakfast, afternoon tea, and other amenities. The beach is conveniently located right downstairs, uncrowded and picturesque. The tiramisu served during afternoon tea was delicious, and the sweet red bean soup in the evening was perfectly simmered and incredibly fragrant. Breakfast was quite substantial, featuring seafood noodles, eggs, corn, fruit, and milk. Although it's not a dedicated family-themed hotel, the children absolutely loved it, making for a truly enjoyable experience. The only drawback is that while there are plenty of diverse dining options nearby, the street hygiene in the vicinity was quite poor, with a pervasive and unpleasant odor from trash.
