Great hotel and the service is really good from the start. Most of the staff can speak English and they put a lot of effort to ensure that my stay was comfortable so thank you. Breakfast was great the staff were very attentive and the manager greeted all the guest and checked if they had a nice stay. I would of liked to have a welcome drink like a bottle of water just at reception but that’s the only negative.

Excellent choice of hotel. Great location. The busy Zhongshan street is just an exit from the hotel. Lots of good eateries, clothing, shoes and titbits. 10 mins away from Xiamen railway station so very convenient. Rooms are very large and spacious. Very clean too. The hotel interior could do with an update but it’s ok otherwise. Breakfast is simple. Has the necessary stations but service is rather slow. Friendly though. Staff not all can speak English. Overall, still happy to stay here and would definitely come back again if I’m in Xiamen.

This hotel is very close to the city centre walking street so there are hundreds of food and drink options. we even ordered thru app take outs from several nearby restaurants delivered to the hotel and brought up by the hotel staff! The level of service is beyond this world. Our room is facing the Gulangyu island and the harbour so the views are stunning from morning to night. One should note though that the Gulangyu ferry terminal is not directly opposite the hotel but a short taxi ride away.

Fortunately, I booked the last room the night before the holiday. My old mother and 6-year-old daughter went to the island to live as islanders for two days during the Qingming Festival. All the staff really made us feel at home as the welcome card said. We are quite picky about choosing hotels in our daily life. We rarely choose to stay in B&Bs instead of international five-star hotels, especially when we bring children. We are very satisfied with the room hardware, service and meals for this impromptu trip. I would like to stay here again if I go to the island next time😉

Thinking about the hotel I stayed in Beijing for 1,500 yuan a night last time, it was a bit old star hotel, there was no view, and the space was not that big. This time, the one I booked in Xiamen is not cheap either. Although it is an apartment-style hotel, the space is really super large, which alone beats many hotels and B&Bs of the same price. As for the supporting facilities and service experience, it is also very good. The only drawback is that when checking in, there are more people in the lobby on the first floor, but the housekeeper will wait in the lobby to assist with the check-in.
