We loved this hotel despite the fact that nobody spoke English. The room was elegant and cozy at the same time. The hotel is next to the city walls, there are many good restaurants around.

Room was great, some people complained that there is no windows open, but I didn’t find that as an issue. When we checked in, first room was super smelly with cigarette, but they changed to the room non smoking room, so it wad much better. Afternoon tea was very nice to have after long day, and breakfast is served to room, which was okay :)

Nicely designed hotel with great location very close to the South Gate. The red room looking at the city wall is stunning.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Two small complaints - no gym as advertised. Also breakfast starts quite late at 730, one day it wasn’t until until 8am.

A very warm welcome on arrival and throughout the stay from courteous and attentive staff. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Within the city walls and so perfect for strolls around the historic city.

Excellent location! Right in the middle of the South Gate area. From the roof top you are literally 15 yards away from the ancient city wall. I loved it that I could wave at the tourists walking on the walk while holding a beer. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea was very good and they would deliver to your room. This is a very lovely boutique hotel and we were glad we booked it.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff were super friendly. When I arrived on the first day, I saw that the room type was upgraded because I brought my child. After a walk in the evening, I returned to the hotel and prepared Tremella soup. This is a place I booked to arrive a few days before my business trip and rest. It couldn't be more perfect. Because according to my standards, the basics of accommodations are cleanliness. Because of my severe rhinitis, when I enter an accommodation, I first touch the places where dust might accumulate. Then I start cleaning. There wasn't a single place where I had to carry a wet tissue and wipe it! Even if I shook the bedding, there was almost no dust! Everything from the floor to the bathroom and bathtub was perfectly clean. Breakfast, although it was a shame to pay the regular price, was included in the total price, so I was satisfied with it. It was fresh, and the staff was very friendly. In the end, I extended my stay for one more day, considering the schedule and route being tangled.
