Hotels near Ma＇anshan Forest Park in Wuhan

Hotel is in a good location. Right near a shopping street with some night markets and plenty of food around. I booked a city view room but was given a room with a view of the inside of the building. The room was big and spacious but the carpet smelled bad which made the room smell like an old pair of socks. Bed was clean and shower was clean. Overall not a bad stay but I saw other rooms on my way out that were much cleaner and nicer. I paid extra for the city view but didn’t get it. So a bit of a waste of money. Other friends that stayed here on same day for free upgrade and paid half what I paid and also got the city view. Not worth paying extra I think. Breakfast was not worth it. Better to eat nearby. Overall the hotel is a bit old and I would say probably a 2.5-3 star. Needs a good clean, some new carpet and some better food for the breakfast. Looks good in the photos but I guess I was just unlucky with the room.

The location is pretty good if you want to visit the yellow crane tower. The staff was very friendly and check in was very easy. The floor could have been cleaner and it smelled like cigarette in the shower. The breakfast was decent.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The location is very convenient for traveling, they have a free pick up to Wuhan train station. In few minutes by Didi you can easily arrive at the center of Wuchang which is plenty of restaurants and family attractions. The service is very polite and the staff very friendly, they kindly helped me with some small issues. The room is clean and nice and there is a robot delivering goods at the room. The manager before leaving gave us a small gift which was really appreciated during the trip back home. The price is affordable and for sure I will consider this hotel again for my trips to Wuhan. I strongly recommended it.

Very good hotel. I have stayed at this hotel twice because of business trips. This time I took my children out to play. I chose another hotel on the first day, and decided to change to this hotel on the second day. The hotel is very new and the facilities are complete. It is very close to the commercial street of Chuhe Han Street, it is very convenient to eat, it is also very close to the high-speed rail station, and it is not far from Wuhan University, Wuhan Conservatory of Music, including Zhonghua Wharf. The front desk service staff, Angel Jiahua was very enthusiastic and sent fruit. I brought a child and a buffet breakfast was given as a gift. I would like to choose this hotel again when I come to Wuhan in the future.

Not bad. The balcony is big and the equipment is also very good. I stayed with my friends and it felt okay. The air conditioning is not very powerful but it doesn't matter. The service is pretty good. The environment and the view downstairs are good. It feels good.

We had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Wuhan to celebrate a birthday! The Guest Service Manager, Irina Guo, was extremely helpful and accommodating to make the experience extra special. The food and service at the hotel restaurant and bar, 1907, was first rate. Would strongly recommend a cocktail and dinner set. The service staff was made aware of the birthday by Ms.Guo, and Josie greeted us with a ”Happy Birthday” accompanied by a complimentary glass of champagne. The breakfast was also first rate with pretty much anything you could want. Following breakfast, we were greeted by another guest service staff member, Guillaume, who ensured we had everything we needed. It was truly the pinnacle of hotel service! 5 stars.

The hotel is close to the business district and subway, making traveling very convenient. The self-service check-in service is very convenient, and the takeaway orders can be delivered to the room by a robot. The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is very comfortable. The gym, laundry room, breakfast room and coffee shop are fully functional. The breakfast is particularly rich and the dining environment is very good. Let me commend the service by name, including the dedicated housekeeper Xiao Hu, and the very enthusiastic elder sister He Aiqun. After staying for 3 consecutive nights, Sister He kept the room very clean every day and enthusiastically provided sweet soup as a gift. This stay was a very good experience. I will choose here again next time I come to Wuhan. Thank you very much to every staff member here.

The room is very clean, hygienic, with plenty of daylight. Most importantly, the soundproofing is very good. I checked and found that they all have double-layer soundproof glass. The facilities and equipment in the room are also very good. It should be a new hotel opened in the past two years. The room price is also relatively low. If you are on a business trip, you can also issue an invoice, and you can even issue more invoices. It is really good. If you are on a business trip all year round, you pay the most attention to the hygiene of the hotel. The hygiene of their hotel is also very reassuring. It is quite good. The tax at the front desk of Xxx Hotel is also unlimited. When you check in, you will be asked to add WeChat. It is very convenient to communicate with them on WeChat if you have any questions. It is very humane.

The environment and location are good. The front desk staff of Lucy and Elvin are very helpful and especially helped us to bring our heavy and big suitcases to their main entrance for taxi to airport because there are so many stair steps which are not user friendly for our elders to walk up and down with heavy suitcases. Also we would like to thank for one lady she (陳四妹) works in the restaurant where provided for breakfast. She is so helpful and kindness to us during our breakfast time since we could not speak well Mandarin but she is willing to help us on the food.

Location of this hotel is certainly convenient, located right off Songjiagang metro station. The destination is perfect for travelers who want to have easy access to the airport (2 metro stops and only about 12 minutes from Tianhe airport), especially during rush hour times when driving would take a much more circuitous route. I have stayed at this chain of Vienna International Hotels before and have had much better experience, but I suppose this depends on location and type. This specific hotel looks palatial upon entering but the rooms are definitely a bit lacking - it seems better suited for those who need only a quick overnight stay to catch a flight. Would not recommend for longer sightseeing trips as rooms have poor sound insulation (I could hear very clearly the conversations of those in a nearby room the entire night - every single word), as well as a very confusing layout. But we did encounter very very kind and nice housekeepers. I am a well-traveled person and understand and appreciate cultural differences and norms in different cities/countries/etc so I generally would not take time to write about this but this experience was too notable not to. Since this was an international hotel and located by an international airport, I expected better service than received. I had just had a long journey and a canceled flight and found this booking on Trip, which was confirmed. Once I arrived at the hotel, I presented my passport for check-in, as I am a foreigner and do not have a ************** ID card. However, the attitude of one of the front desk hotel clerks was incredibly rude. The clerk immediately told me (without even asking) that I could not live there using a passport to check-in. According to Chinese law, this is obviously not true and a false statement. I imagine the clerk felt too lazy to have to scan my passport details but felt extremely uncomfortable at this exchange. There is no local stipulation that foreigners who live and work long term in China cannot live at the hotel. In fact, being an INTERNATIONAL hotel chain located by an airport, how can you not take guests who have passports? Following this exchange, I asked for an extra room card as I am traveling with a friend and was given a ”fake” card that did not work. The front desk worker did not even bother scanning it, so it was really useless. I suggest better training and customer service / hospitality guidance for your hotel front staff. This was the worst experience in customer service I have ever had from a Trip.com booking. Will never stay here again.
