Checking in and out of the hotel was easy. The hotel is in a good location. It is very close to public transportation and a lot of restaurants. The rooms are very tiny, and there are few amenities, but it is a good place to stay if you just want a clean and quiet hotel that will not break your budget while you are visiting Tokyo.
Richmond Hotel Tokyo Mejiro

This time I stayed in Tokyo for a total of 6 nights, divided into 2 times (3 nights + 3 nights). They were not in the same room but basically the same room type. They were all standard double rooms (15 square meters) and cost about HKD$700 per night. It is very convenient to reach the hotel by turning left at Mejiro Station and go straight for about 2 minutes. It is very close to Shinjuku Ikebukuro, Nakayusei Lawson, 7-11 and FamilyMart, and Nakayusama Aeon Supermarket. There is a drug store and a chain restaurant downstairs, so this location is very suitable for tourists💯. The decoration of the hotel is nostalgic🫣, but it is very clean and well-equipped. The bed and pillows are not very soft👍🏻. Although the room is not very big, two suitcases can be placed on the window sill. The bathroom is too big for a Japanese hotel, and the hair dryer is not powerful enough😂. Amenities can be picked up in the lobby, including bath salts and rubber bands, as well as pola skincare/face wash🫶🏻. Overall, I am very satisfied. It is a typical Japanese-style hotel. Although it is small, it has all the necessary features😛.

The location is so good. It is a 1-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. (Based on Fukutoshin Line C1 gate) It is small but clean, and the smoking room may still have a cigarette smell depending on who used it before. The surroundings are quiet and there is an air conditioner that provides hot and cold air. Recommended for those who value cost-effectiveness.

Great hotel. Excellent customer service. Near the train station. Room is clean and new. WiFi is good. If you are staying in the superior room, do ask for the Mt Fuji view. We stayed on the 19th floor and we can view the beautiful Mt Fuji from our room.
