I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly had a really good experience. The location is great — about a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station’s west exit. It is in a slightly dodgy love-hotel area, but once you’re inside, it feels totally fine.
The staff were super nice and friendly, and check-in was super easy. You just scan your passport using a machine, so no stress at all even if you don’t speak Japanese.
There’s a self-amenities shelf in the lobby which was really convenient, and they also offer a free small breakfast. For the price, it was definitely worth it — they serve super fluffy Japanese soft milk bread made locally, plus different yogurt flavors, salad, coffee, soft drinks, etc.
They cleaned the room every day, which I really appreciated. They also have a laundry service for 880 yen that washes and dries everything for you. You just hand in the laundry bag before 11 pm, and they deliver it back folded at 7 am the next morning. Super convenient.
Overall, a really good stay — great service, great location, and definitely worth the price.
