Hotel Sunroute Asakusa

The location is fantastic for Asakusa and very near to most attractions like Sensoji temple, shopping and food options. The train station, tawaramachi, is nearest to the hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful and booked taxis for my family for our transfers checkout. They speak good English. Umbrellas are easily accessible from the front desk as the weather is highly unpredictable. Housekeeping and room service is great!

Benefits- Free beer provided daily from 4 pm to 7 pm at hotel lobby. If u can make it back to hotel on that time period. Hotel surroundings - Tons of restaurants and shops to explore and can walk to Asakusa temple easily. Room - Comfortable and bathroom is nice.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sunroute Asakusa and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Tawaramachi Station on the Ginza Line, and it’s also close to Asakusa’s main attractions such as Senso-ji Temple, Kaminarimon Gate, and the Nakamise shopping street. The location makes it easy to explore the area or access other parts of Tokyo. The room was compact but well-designed, typical of many Tokyo business hotels. It was very clean and equipped with all the essentials — a comfortable bed, air purifier, mini fridge, and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom amenities were of good quality, and the housekeeping staff did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay. Staff members were friendly and efficient, though English proficiency varied. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the front desk staff were happy to provide maps and directions. There’s also a convenience store nearby and several restaurants within walking distance, which made dining simple and flexible. While the hotel doesn’t have many luxury facilities, it’s perfect for travelers looking for a clean, quiet, and affordable base in the heart of Asakusa.
