The room is standard size but quite dated, the heated pool is a joy to use. Location is 10 minutes drive from the lake side.

I like the facilities available, got my room on a special rate but the room is definitely not worth the rate they charge. Room clean but is tired.

It’s rare to see a hotel of this size in New Zealand~ It’s a bit like an old five-star~ There is a small outdoor hot spring, but when we went there the temperature was about zero at night and the water temperature was not too hot. It takes courage to start the water~

This hotel is very clean, the tableware is very complete, the environment is super good, surrounded by trees, flowers and plants🌳, the scenery on the road is particularly beautiful, with snow-capped mountains and lake views, wonderful!

I just like this resort but I only stayed for 1 night so I can’t share my short experience in this place. Anyway I will come back and stay at least a couple days in this resort

Terrible room condition. no aircond and the provided fan was fallen apart. Rang the front desk was told the room booked was a cheaper room so nothing they can do. the front desk - Frances was rude and had bad attitude and the manager that night Omkar Khot was quite indifferent and simply offered to change us to the 2 room down the hall. There was a CROCOROACH in the bathroom! photo provided. overall, this is the worst experience through WOTIF booking.

Property looks a bit dated. Staff is friendly. Room was clean and had all the amenities we expected. Parking is easy but it is located outside of town so you need to drive.

Over $200 a night for a room with worn out carpet and that only gets made up every 2 days. We avoided the $50 each breakfast as we've never even been charged that in genuine 5-star hotels (this rates a 3-star maximum, regardless of what they claim). The golf course and tennis courts are closed, so not much of a resort. There are far better hotels in Taupo.

Nice comfortable and clean room. Staff were friendly and the check-in and check out were easy and quick. Pool was great and there is a secure room for bike storage. We ate in Taupo so cant comment on the food.
