Suzhou Little Courtyard Inn

had such a fantastic time at this hotel! It's conveniently located just a short 10-minute stroll from the metro station, and there are tons of cool spots nearby like The North Pagoda, Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and the Suzhou Silk Museum, all within a quick 10-15 minute walk. It feels like staying in a cozy guest house nestled within a family complex. The owner, a lovely lady, is super friendly and helpful. While the room has that charming old-school vibe, it's spotlessly clean and has everything you need, even a hairdryer. It totally reminds me of my grandma's place back in the day! Plus, there's a cute little mini library with some fascinating collectibles and a cozy tea house - perfect for some Insta-worthy snaps! Oh, and watch out for the three adorable cats who love to wander around and sometimes even pop into your room for a visit! You won't go hungry here either! Right next door, there's a fabulous café, and across the street, you've got a whole lineup of local food joints. And let me tell you, don't miss out on the crab noodle spot near the traffic light - it's absolutely divine! And if you're craving some fresh fruit, just head over to the fruit stand near the small bridge. They're open late - I swung by around 11 pm and they were still going strong! Just a friendly reminder: This hotel does have its Chinese name displayed at the entrance, no English. So, make sure to remember or write down that street number to find it easily next time! And you can bet your bottom dollar that if I find myself back in Suzhou, I'll be booking a room here again without a second thought!

The location is perfect, walking distance to all major attractions. Also MRT is nearby & accessible to all attractions. Check in is fast , owner provide clear instructions. Nice cozy stay if you want something different from the usual hotel stay.

Perfect room for a solo traveller. Location is ~7min walk from nearest mrt station and is walkable to major attractions like Suzhou museum and Pingjiang road Caught a few mosquitos in the room but it didn’t bother me too much. Landlady is very friendly and helpful, was able to checkin early and provided me info about touring Suzhou

This place was wonderful! The owner was really sweet and always very helpful. The Room was absolutely beautiful and kept very clean. There's also 3 cute cats on the property. I really enjoyed my stay here and will come again when i return to Suzhou.

Good place to try if you like to experience the traditional Suzhou style. Toilet floor is slippery when wet. The heater takes a while to warm up. Room and bed frame are relative small. Location is super idea as very near to places of attractions and good food.

A bit disappointed that what was described, and photos of property shown do not quite match. Proprietress is very nice and welcoming. Current state of property is very 'tired' and need refreshing. Location is great. Has laundry washer but no dryer, hang out to dry at courtyard. Overall it is still OK but would have preferred a better condition.
