Not a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel.
CHECK - IN - requested for a river facing room but i got a room facing pool of the next door hotel with some condenser sound, really loud and had difficulty sleeping at night. I was alone with my child and had returned from a long haul flight, there was no porter present during that time, and staff helped me till the lift and I had to drag 3 large luggages, 1 cabin luggage all by myself.
IN THE ROOM - the single beds are extremely small, even for a single person. The balcony doors were so dirty with dust around the and housekeeping doesn’t even clean the room properly, nor replenish amenities. My dirty towel was still hanging behind the toilet door even after housekeeping cleaned made the room. The balcony door couldn’t open and upon check-in staff did not brief about the door opening formalities, in the end front desk made me go down to sign the some documents. The balcony door anyways couldn’t operate the same evening and I find it so annoying to keep calling front desk. 2nd after check in, i had some friend visiting and we ordered coffee using their tablet provided in the room and 45mins later still no coffee. When called front desk, the said staff are busy at buffet. Finally the coffee came after an hour but super cold and staff mentioned, coffee was on the house.
BREAKFAST - Upon checking-in, the front desk guy, a tall indian guy, asked for my credit card details, saying that it would be convenient for hotel to charge on bills, but when I went down for breakfast I was asked to pay because I have not given a deposit. I seriously dont get it why hotel staff need to store guest’s credit card details.
Overall, just disappointing! Wont come back here. Being under the Millennium Hotels umbrella, this hotel really need a lot of improvement!
