Had an enjoyable stay at sailrock The staff are generally excellent, especially the guys at the beach/ the cove beach bar/restaurant where nothing is too much trouble We came from UK and only saw one other lots of brits, most guests are from the US which is obviously a much shorter hop, whereas for the same flight time brits could go to maldives, thailand etc There is nowhere else to eat or drink locally, you need a taxi to go into town and they make that very very expensive, considering the distance. The bikes are not in great shape, so i wouldn't risk the 45 minute cycle into town. The resort is very expensive with the current exchange rate for brits, the menu price advertised then has 3 taxes/fees on top (so plus 10%, 12% & 9.25%) and then gratuity on top of that. It was a good way of cutting down our alcohol intake The Caicos bank side of resort (the cove) has lovely fine sandy beach and turquoise water and is super shallow, however it also has small jelly fish sitting on the bottom as you walk in and a few people got a light sting (nothing bad), the bigger issue for me is the bottom is full of mud and the occasional big rock to stub your toe on. I wore sea shoes quite often to avoid this. Its also very shallow, so to get your shoulders under you need to sit down. Its not great for snorkelling as no reef. The hobbie cat was great fun, albeit they only had one sail, so only one hobbie was working. I didn't wear a life jacket because water appeared to be 3 foot deep max. They also have kayaks and SUP, but beware of the offshore wind- it makes it a lot harder coming back, but you could always jump off 500 feet out and walk back- its that shallow The Atlantic side beach Hardly anyone goes this side, but we enjoyed long walks up the 2 miles beach every day. When we arrived other guests warned us about the rubbish, but it was was worse than we could have imagined, it washes up every day from the Atlantic. Being someone who cant sit still i decided to clean the beach myself (all 2 miles of it) and put it into big piles for the staff to collect, after quite a lot of prompting and reminding they finally did collect it all on my last day. Its not their rubbish it washes in from the sea, most appeared to be off fishing boats and mainly plastic, but i still felt as the only resort on that beach they should at least regularly clean the rubbish, they clean the sea**** daily so why not the rubbish I hope everyone appreciates a few useful tips above and i hope you too enjoy your stay at sailrock like we did In conclusion for us 10 days was too much in one place (maybe that's just us) there are only so many items on the menu, the do make some changes to dinner menu but not breakfast and lunch

We traveled to SailRock Resort March of 2024. The staff is very kind and courteous. The rooms are accurately depicted online. The only downside to the rooms is that the AC units are very loud and the water pressure is like a trickle. My wife and daughters were unable to even rinse soap from their hair. Even our bathtubs would not stay full for the trip because the drains would not operate properly. The staff attempted to correct this issue several times but failed and we didn't even get a discount or even bottle of wine for the trouble. The other downside is the distance between the villas and the "nice clean Cove Beach." From the villas it is a hike uphill to the main clubhouse and then about a 1/2 mile downhill to the beach. Figure about a 15-20 min walk. There are no golf carts for the villas, but if you want to wait you can call for a side-by-side SUV to pick you up. Had we known the distance and effort required to get from a villa to the cove beach, then we might have gone to another location. The food is good (there is one place for lunch and only one for dinner) but keep in mind that everything priced to you is done without the 35% taxes and fees. So, if you want a private Beach bonfire you will be quoted $1500 but you will be billed around $2,000. A $380 bottle of wine is really over $500. A $2700 boat trip back to the main island is really $3500. The captains for the boating activities are very nice. There is 1 center console fishing boat that is clean and nice, but the 40-foot Nortek and the Boston Whaler are in really bad shape. The Boston Whaler lost an engine on our excursion and was really worn down. The 39 ft Nortek that took us to Provo had towels over all the seats because all the cushions were ripped up. The boat seemed mechanically ok and the captain was great, but you don't want to take any pics inside with your kids because the boat you just paid $3500 for looks like a pack of dogs tore up the seats. At this price point we have stayed at Auberge, Once and Only and Montage resorts. I do think that Sailrock has potential but it has several areas to improve to compete in this space.

Our expectations for Sailrock were really high. Probably too high. This facility not only met, but exceeded even our highest expectations. First and foremost, the service here is world class. Putra was our concierge and he was awesome. We didn't hear the word 'no' from anyone at this resort. Every employee here is smiling, friendly, and over-the-top accommodating. The staff at Sailrock really take this place to another level. The location is amazing. Atlantic views from one side and sunset over a crystal blue cove from the other. It's gorgeous and private. We did not see a lot of other people at this resort while we were there and that's exactly what we were hoping for. True solitude. Food was incredible, our villa was incredible, everything was just perfect. The price point for the beachfront villas made this likely a once in a lifetime experience for us and we're so happy we did it. I hope someday we can return because it's simply incredible. They have a massive expansion plan for this resort. I truly hope they do so with serenity and quiet as a focus. It would be a travesty if this place turns into a theme park. The peace and quiet here was like nothing we've experienced.

We had the best time at Sailrock with our 19 year old teen, 4 and 7 year old girls. We felt like we were the only guests as we swam in the ocean and pool multiple times a day from morning until evening. We watched multiple sunrises from our balcony walked to the beach early am to look for sea stars. Mon, Mukesh, Lalu, Danielle and all the kitchen folks kept us well fed, always making sure the girls and us had whatever we needed. The girls were spoiled rotten by all the staff who got them treats and always went out of their way to make them smile. They have vegan and gluten free options. Every night the dinner menu changes and there are a lot of Asian options which we loved. The halibut, tuna tartare and the seafood chowder were all fantastic. Their key lime pie is also extremely good! The chefs work so hard to make everything perfect for you and the staff have become like family to us. Jerome who works the cove bar treated the girls with rainbow lemonades and made us almond milk baby donkeys basically the yummiest chocolate milkshakes w toasted marshmallows. We loved it when dinner was at the cove as they would build a bonfire for s’mores. Off the lunch menu we loved the fish tacos ask for the house made hot sauce, the pork tenderloin wrap and the sweet potato fries. The children’s portions for dinner is quite generous that our girls often shared one plate. The wine selection is also fantastic. Kiki was a huge favorite with the girls always so warm and welcoming. Frances and Mike kept us safe driving us to Sunset Cafe (if you’re into Carribbean food this is a must the curry fish the coleslaw potato salad conch salad all fantastic). We also did Dolphins Grill for dinner which had the best view. We did a boat trip with Ben and Marley on the whaler. We saw the islands from a viewpoint found lots of conch shells to take home, Ben helped my 4 year old snorkel so we actually got to snorkel. Then we swam and dived for starfish - saw a lot of parrot rainbow etc. It was really wonderful! We took the hobiecat out every day, swam and floated on the hammocks and really enjoyed slowing down. The beds are super comfy, the AC is great after a day in the sun, the rooms have nespresso machines for that sunrise breakfast. With an upcoming birthday, Paul serenaded my 4 year old with the most beautiful song. They decorated our bed with flowers for our anniversary. If you haven’t booked your trip you should!

Impossible for a review to capture what an incredible experience we just had visiting Sailrock. We have done most of the BVIs, Provo, Hawaii and this trip was at the very top of the list. To start you have some of the most amazing views and crystal clear water that we have ever seen. The resort is designed to make you feel like you have the entire place to yourself. Despite being fully occupied, not once did we have to compete for a beach chair, dinner reservation, or staff. Beyond the gorgeous property, the staff is the most attentive, authentic and hard working group we have ever experienced. Been to Rosewoods to Four Seasons to Aman and Oestker resorts (which have amazing staffs as well) but this was next level. Putra is one of a kind and makes sure every need, inquiry, request is handled with meticulous consideration and always with a smile. The in villa chef experience is a must….went out one day and caught lobster and conch and they made it for the most extraordinary dinner one night! Also try the massages and the cherry on top of it all was the exclusive sandbar experience. Picture kayaking out to your own private beach with rays, nurse sharks and bone fish below you, on your way to your setup beach chairs, with breakfast waiting for you. Not one sound to be heard, just some birds, lapping and waves and a gentle breeze for 3 hours straight (see pics). Bottom line, this resort is a must if you want to get away, decompress, and have every need tended to by the most amazing staff you will ever meet! Thank you Sailrock…..you were just what the “doctor” ordered! P.S. - Almost forgot to mention watching two whales breach as we sat poolside at our villa was a memory we will never forget. Amazing!

My family and I had a blast at Sailrock! We took a recent trip to the resort to celebrate my birthday and we were all blown away by how accommodating and welcoming the staff were from the moment we first arrived. The staff treated my family as though we were part of their family. In fact, one of the first staff members that we met at Sailrock, Putra, often referred to us as his family, which made us feel right at home. The property itself is so scenic with expansive views of the ocean at every turn. It is like a hidden gem in its seclusion, surrounded by nothing but dirt roads and ocean, offering a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. In fact, it was relatively quiet and intimate with not too many people around for the duration of our stay. It was also pretty cool seeing plenty of donkeys on the premises. Oftentimes, they were either staring at us or you could hear them occasionally braying in the day or at night, but they pretty much did their own thing and left us alone. We had to be a little mindful not to step in donkey doo on some of the pathways though. Due to the secluded nature of the property, you will probably need some form of transportation if you want to travel into town. The resort staff can arrange a shuttle bus to take you from the resort to town (what my family and I did) or if you’re feeling super adventurous and up for the challenge, you could also ride there on one of the bikes that Sailrock offers. If you do decide to go into town, I recommend stopping by a local restaurant called, “Triple J’s.” I think their menu items change from time to time, but they make a pretty darn good **** Chicken, so if you’re into that, it’d be a good place to check out. The eating area for the restaurant is outside in a backyard and had music pumping when my family and I went. As far as accommodations go at Sailrock, my family and I stayed in two beachfront villas on the property, which were absolutely incredible. I loved having a pathway leading up to our villa with its own private gate. There was an outdoor dining area right before we went in through the glass door. The view from the inside was absolutely breathtaking, giving us a direct view of the pool that overlooks the ocean. We even had our own private beach access where we could walk down the unpaved pathway from the pool straight to the beach (again, watch out for donkey doo lol). There were already lounge chairs set up where we could relax and fully take in the view of the Atlantic Ocean. And speaking of ocean, I would highly recommend checking out the Cove Beach. White sand, clear, turquoise water, lines of lounge chairs with umbrellas, and a restaurant/bar with servers who can serve you drinks straight from your lounge chair…what a way to relax! It is incredibly scenic at Cove Beach (personally, I thought a little more so than the Atlantic side as you don’t have to deal with sargassum.). I was also especially (very happily) surprised when a staff member (Jos

Sailrock South Caicos is truly a hidden gem. We actually ended up booking our stay here very last minute and we keep laughing that it was the best last minute decision that we ever made. The beach area is so gorgeous that it doesn't look real. The staff quite possibly may be the best in the business. We have never vacationed somewhere that all of the staff know you by name. The villas were breath taking, peaceful, and just perfect. I highly recommend the boating trip with Leo and CJ! The massages were fantastic and the views from the massage cabana were really nice. We are actually looking at the calendar to pick a date to go back with the kids. One thing that we absolutely loved was not having to dress up on vacation, laid back luxury is such a wonderful vibe on vacation. I'm in the travel industry and visit a lot of resorts, but I can truly say there is nothing to compares to this one. Thank you to Layvern for helping us make this trip possible. Thank you to Putra for making us feel like royalty during our stay.

What a beautiful place. This was by far the best trip we have ever experienced. Special thanks to Kiki and Putra. They made our stay awesome. We did have a little delay at the airport with the ihop plane but Kiki personally drove to the airport with snacks and even chartered another plane to make sure we made our connection. I can’t express the gratitude for her amazing service. I highly recommend this resort. We normally don’t return to places we have been because we like to experience new adventures. This is the one place we will return.
