Hotels in Sofia City Center, Sofia

A compact hotel, centrally located and very convenient for transport. It has a bit of a Japanese hotel vibe. However, the space was incredibly cramped; there was nowhere to put my groceries or luggage! On the bright side, it was quite clean, and the color scheme and aesthetics were excellent. You could say it's small but perfectly formed, boasting a strong industrial design aesthetic. The overall ambiance had a distinct former Soviet bloc feel.

Excellent location for those just passing through; a single night's stay might not be enough to give a comprehensive review, but the hotel is very large, renovated and adapted to modern standards, especially considering its communist-era origins. Everything was perfect.

Overall cleanliness of the whole property is ok as the cleaner did her best from what I saw, but unluckily my bed was not as clean as I expected. Hope the color on my bed cover and pillow was stain not dirt (see pictures). Also when I wanted to extend my stay for the next day and came down to receptionist, he said he had finished his shift and asked me to come back in the morning, while his shift was actually not finished yet (there is a written information what time reception is supposed to close). Other than those two issues, it was a great stay, kitchen is spacious with stoves, sink, fridge, table and chairs, living room.

Unfortunately, there was a significant incident of cleaning the bathroom in the room, I expected to receive compensation for it but we did not receive it. Therefore, the service and cleanliness are rated low. I choose not to share the details of what happened so as not to harm the hotel too much.

Superb location. In the city centre. Historical palace. Modern interior designs of the rooms. Soft & fresh bed sheets/towels. Big rooms. Spotless clean. Great amenities with gym. Delicious with big variations of breakfast. Helpful and great staff. Fast check in & out. Walking distance to all landmarks of the capital. Public transportation is only 1-2 min walk. The only thing that miss were the absence of extra tooth paste and tooth brush. The rest were ok. Highly recommend. Definitely comeback here soon.

The hotel is near the M1 subway station, there is free parking, there is rail transit nearby, you can go to the parliament building and other hotels on the M1 line of the subway. You can walk to a Chinese restaurant along the rail transit (the double lion is about 800 meters) The taste is really good, the price is not expensive, we 4 people eat 30 yuan Bulgarian Lev, which is 15 euros. There are crispy duck, fish-flavored pork, green vegetables and fried noodles. The hotel breakfast is not bad, the service is very good, there are banks and parks next to it, there is a local restaurant in the park that tastes good and the price is reasonable.

While located near Serdika metro station, the area is generally quieter. Our room was located on the second level, and there’s no lift access to our room. But the receptionist offered to help us with our luggage. Hotel is clean, and our room had a huge sofa and TV.

The hotel has complete facilities, including a restaurant, swimming pool, and fitness room. The front desk staff is also very friendly. The room is also very large. Although the decoration style is a bit nostalgic, the overall experience is very good.

Hotel is next to metro 2 central train station and is quite good if you can navigate the metro, line The breakfast is the same everyday but staff are good and complimentary coffee in reception. On my visit very quiet this time of year in Sofia but I enjoyed Sofia No restaurant nearby have to go into city . There are shops nearby about 1/2 km away but it’s ok and safe Night time few doggy characters around this part of town but avoid them 24 hr reception was helpful and warm Just if you come in late grab some food for your room as nothing to eat around

The room is super huge and the hotel is at good location within walking distance to all major attractions. But the hotel looks tired and the hair dryer is useless.
