everything is ok for one night sleep immediate after a late night arrival. But it takes about 10 minutes walk from domestic airport . Don’t follow the google suggestion. Just follow the sign of “hotels and convention centre” . there is a covered (mostly covered) bridge connecting the terminal to the hotel.

Superbly located accommodation that is flexible on; duration of stay, size and type of room, plus dinning and parking. I chose to stay in the motor inn section and the friendly staff were only too happy to change my online hotel booking on check-in, from the ground level to an excellent upper floor room. The grounds are lovely, with outdoor seating aplenty, as well as a sensational pool area. There is a cafe on-site and car parking is well and truly ample. In this part of Brisbane North, there are many excellent restaurants. And I decided to go with a take-away from the award winning Pizza Plaza at Boondall, washed down with a cheeky Rose Moscato. Great location for airport convenience. Great staff and very comfortable rooms. Every part of the guest experience was helpful and pleasant. Bar prices are fair considering the service you receive. This is now My new go to when transiting through Brisbane

The hotel is very clean, about 8 minutes from the airport, but there is no place to eat nearby. You can play uber to Westfield Chermside for about 10 minutes. A big shopping center also has a lot of places to eat. There is a free drop-off service, which needs to be booked in advance. I booked a single room with a double bed and a single bed, and three people staying at the hotel will have to pay another $15. The hotel key should be kept safe. If you lose it, you have to pay 100 Australian dollars.

Great visit once again. Our favourite spot to stay in the Redcliffe area. The rooms are clean and the service is always excellent. The pool was a lovely treat with the hot weather and the perfect temperature. We will definitely book again for our next visit.

I had to move out from the original hotel I stayed due to fully-booked. Since my flight is at 9:00 am, so I thought staying close to the airport would be good since I would not need to wake up early. Searched in Google Map for hotels near the airport and decided to stay at Prince of Wales Hotel mainly because it was reasonably priced with many cafes/eateries nearby. Arrived at the hotel around 6:30pm tired and hungry, but was told that the room booked had already been taken up by mistake. The lady in-charged was quick to offer an upgrade (no more studio room) with free dinner because the room needed time to be cleaned/tidied up. We ended up in a 2-room suites and the dinner was great! But we had to change room the next day after they had vacated the original studio room that I booked. For all the trouble the hotel gave me a 5% refund. Though I experienced some inconveniences, I applaud the way they handled the situation, and I actually felt that they respected their hotel guests. The studio room is quite small with attached toilet & bathroom. Unlike the 2-room suites facing the main road was quite noisy, this room at the back was quieter. The fixtures were aged. All the hotel rooms are on 1st floor with no lift. We were given 2 keys, one for the room and one for the entrance downstairs. We stayed 2 nights and left around 6:00am, just dropped the keys at the box next to the entrance. We pre-ordered Uber and it got here right on time and it took about 10min to get to the airport. Overall I feel that it is a good choice for overnight stay especially for early flight if you don't mind carrying your luggage up/down the stairs and having small size room (Studio).

The motel was easy to navigate to for us country bumpkins who don’t drive in the city we could walk to the Westfield shopping centre rooms clean and tidy we had 16 and it was at the back so not much road noise for being on a busy road. Aldi next door was a great convenience

The breakfast was good, the environment was clean and fresh, and the fruit was fresh. Going out was McDonald's. It is suitable for bringing children, the location of the hotel is very conspicuous, there is parking lot, very good, staying next time.

*Our first complaint is that it is not clear from the name of the hotel and the description that it is not at the Brisbane airport but a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. Therefore the price is plus taxi fare to get there. *Secondly, this budget Ibis has no reception facility for passengers such as ourselves faced with a midnight arrival. The office is closed after 10:00 pm. *Thirdly this hotel has no facilities for elderly people who are faced with climbing stairs with their suitcases.I.e. There are no lifts. *Fourthly the room we were allocated is on no way sound proof from the external traffic noise. You are basically in the middle of a freeway. *This Ibis hotel is no more than a one star facility and is misrepresenting on the Qantas website. It had a bed, period! We paid $169 for this room,to avoid arriving from Western Australia on the red eye, and were actually faced with a far worse experience with this sub standard hotel. We had no sleep at all.

We originally booked into the Novotel on a premium king room rate paying $319 to include breakfast. This was booked incorrectly due to some glitch in their booking system - which meant I couldn’t stay there at the time I wanted to and I was given a credit to use at another time. We used this credit last night and when checking in we were told we could park downstairs. No mention anywhere of cost. We went to our room and upon showering at around 11:30 - our shower was blocked and wouldn’t drain. We had to call front desk and at midnight nearly had to change rooms so we could shower. Came down in the mornign to have our buffet breakfast that we paid for - and we’re told that we weren’t on the list and couldn’t have breakfast without paying again. Off to reception and point out that not only did we actually already pay for breakfast in our original booking but pointed out that we have paid $319 for our room and right now on the website you can pay $310 for the same room WITH breakfast included. The manager Teresa was extremely unhelpful and told us that there’s nothing to be done about it. We would have to just wait to talk to reservation team in an hour. We decided to check out and leave. Still nothing mentioned about parking and yet when I go to exit the car park I was asked to pay $25 to validate parking! Absolutely unacceptable service. We should have been comped breakfast straight away as ANY one can see we clearly paid a rate that matches breakfast and it’s not OUR fault that Novotel lost track of it and didn’t book the follow up room properly. I travel for work multiple times a month and I will never recommend a Novotel again for either business or personal use.
