The hotel is beautiful, no wifi in the room, 3g only on the balcony. The breakfast is basic, meat and eggs are cooked to order. The dinner is three courses, tasted good, the wine list is very cheap. The road to the park entrance is average, there are washboard sections, you get used to it.

A magical stay in the Namib desert with spectacular views in every direction - including beautiful sunsets. The staff were attentive and helpful, always found a solution to issues and had answers for our questions. The dinners were delicious and they even offered local game! Menu at the pool bar for lunch was also good -- we had salad and tacos which were delicious. Not far from the Sossusvlei gate or NamibSky hot air ballooning. Rooms were large and well-appointed, we had a balcony which was a perfect spot to welcome the sun. I only wish we would have taken advantage to have the bed on the roof and sleep under the stars! We recommend choosing Le Mirage if you are looking for spacious, luxury accomodation in the Sesriem area.

Had an Oasis room - very large, nice balcony, good amenities, very clean and modern. Nice pool. Breakfast included cook to order items. Dinner was a 5 course feast - both nice food. Staff friendly. Sundowners for sunset worth doing. Star gazing at night superb. Complimentary tea and cake each afternoon at the pool bar lounge. Internet the only suspect thing....not crucial when you're on holiday but useful given flights etc are all online check in now. Visited Sossusvlei - about 30 mins drive to the outer gate and then another 50 mins to the 2x4 car park. Unless you're a confident 4x4 driver I'd take the shuttle from here to the 4x4 car park - about 5km further along and the start of the walk to Big Daddy and Deadvlei - we saw a number of cars stuck and our tractor even got stuck on the way back! Shuttle was 180 N$ return for adults and 50% for children. We arrived at the outer gate at 730am and started the Big Daddy climb just before 930am, we climbed the first high point in about 30 mins and then decided to run down into Deadvlei (rather than drop down and then walk back up to the second higher point). Walked in socks which seemed to work better than trainers. Came back with stops at Dune 45 and a wander through the canyon near the entrance which was worth doing. Had a brief lunch at the cafe near the entrance gate (part of a campsite) which was good value and friendly. Entry to the park was 150 N$ per adult, children under 9 were free and there was a 50 N$ charge for the car. Drove from Windhoek - B1-C24-C14-D854-C19-D845-C27. Google said 4.5 hours, it took about an hour longer than this due to all roads apart from the B1 being gravel or sand limiting your speed in parts.

Le Mirage Resort and Spa delivers an outstanding holiday experience with its exceptional food, friendly staff, and stunning accommodations. The Oasis rooms are spacious and beautiful, providing a perfect retreat. The resort's well-kept grounds add to its charm, offering picturesque views and a serene a**osphere. Overall, Le Mirage is a top choice for a luxurious and memorable getaway. On our last night, we were spoiled by Sylvester who created a romantic dinner experience for us. We were so surprised & loved every minute of it - a lot of thought was put into it - Thank you!!

We stayed at Le Mirage Resort and Spa. From the time you walk in, you are welcomed with a fresh, cool towel, homemade ice tea, and their lovely staff.  We are here on our honeymoon, and what an incredible stay it was. We were here for 2 nights and 3 days. We arrived with a flat tyre, which Sylvester came and told us, and he helped us fix it right away. Sylvester, from the very start, made us feel at home. At dinner, we chatted and connected, and he was so authentically interested in who we were. His smile was contagious. He was our waiter throughout our whole stay. On our second night, he had a romantic table outside, ready for us and sparkling water. The 5 course dinner on both nights was something out of this world. The Executive Chef came and said hi, and we told him how amazing his food was.  We did the quad bike sundowner with Abraham. What an interesting and informative tour he gave, and the views were just stunning. On our last night, we stayed in one of the two outdoor tower rooms, and we slept under the stars and saw the Milky Way. On our final morning, we did the half a day excursion with Johnny & Levi. We saw the sun rise and he told us so many interesting things at each stop. From DeathVeli to Dune 45. This will be a stay we will never forget. Everyone was just amazing.

Best stay ever, one of the most beautiful unique hotels in the desert with a Moroccan touch, rooms were squeaky clean, service from reception to room service and restaurant was excellent, the views are to die for, listen the dinner experience is 10/10. Pictures don't do justice to this hotel. It's practically 10 mins drive to the sossuvlei gate.

The lodge has an amazing pool area , staff are friendly and attentive Our only gripe was the aircon units in the oasis suites are totally insufficient to cool the large area , every single guest that night complained about the same situation - We were the only SADC guests Spoke with Mr Damster The GM he seemed understand the problem as we were not the first to complain Would definitely return but in winter - won’t try in summer again just way too hot Special mention to Sylvester who waited on us lovely guy with a good sense of humour Le Mirage staff are a definite asset
