"Checking in at the Green Mountain Indigo Hotel was incredibly relaxing! Its prime mountain location offered a cool and pleasant escape from the heat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with stylish decor incorporating local elements. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portions, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The viewpoint was within walking distance, and the surrounding area was convenient for sightseeing and hiking. Cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding was comfortable and sleep-inducing, and the facilities were well-maintained. It was a fantastic family vacation experience, tranquil and relaxing, with excellent value for money. Booking through Ctrip was super convenient, and I would definitely book again!"

"The hotel is built on a cool mountainside with refreshing air and spectacular views. The staff were generally friendly. The breakfast was plentiful. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, there's a small town just a 5-minute drive away with many restaurants (at reasonable prices). The hotel's food is more expensive, but the ambiance is better. The bathroom is a bit small, and the shower stall doesn't have a door, so water splashes out, making it impossible to completely separate the wet and dry areas. The hotel offers free activities such as a treehouse, rock climbing, billiards, and table tennis, as well as many paid activities."

As the hotel is situated more than 2000 meters above sea level, it is a perfect getaways from souring heat during summer. The hotel ambient is so inviting, that is because of the hotel staff's very accommodating, friendly, and responsive attitude. In the room we stayed, it is very relaxing, spotlessness clean, very hygienic, and with well-maintained bathrooms. Food is so flavorful, thanks to Chef Angel Orbino - who has a gift in bringing out mouthwatering and aroma-rich taste menus. Price point is very affordable in consideration of the services provided and other amenities like Wi-Fi, pools, very wide viewing area of what nature can offer and food."

"The building, with its two distinctive domes, appears isolated at a bend in the winding but well-paved road leading to Jabal. Few tourists seem to stop there, except for a few groups attracted by the low prices. The single-story building is well-maintained, with marble floors and wide corridors. The rooms all face south towards the vast plateau on the opposite side from the entrance. They offer basic comfort with rather dated furnishings. The major problem, which becomes apparent in the late winter afternoon, is the bitter cold that reigns on this side of the plateau and the hotel's poor thermal (and sound) insulation, where the reversible air conditioners run at full blast, making an incessant noise all night. The meals served in the adjoining restaurant are quite good, with the obligatory buffets, but guests in fleece or down jackets don't linger too long. It's worth noting that the establishment serves wine and beer, and the price of the buffet (3.5 OMR) is very reasonable. It has to be said that the clientele is practically captive, as no one really wants to take their 4x4 in the middle of the night to end up in another hotel's restaurant, given the limited dining options at this mountain resort. In short, it's all just average."
