Hotel Emisia Sapporo

We went during the ski season. Because they were gold members of Starwood, they took the initiative to upgrade the room. We didn't start registering when we arrived, but the staff there arranged the room for us for free as soon as they heard that they were gold members. We are on the 27th floor and can enjoy Hokkaido in the snow. The hotel is the tallest building in that area, so the view is very beautiful. The rooms are quite large by Japanese standards. However, the design in the room looks outdated and needs to be renovated. Although this didn't destroy anything, we felt that everything looked old. The heater in our room was very warm and when we reflected to the front desk, a fan was immediately sent in. Very timely and thoughtful! I don't know if everyone can have breakfast in the lobby (continental breakfast) or more than 30 levels (not sure the exact series, but really high) to choose to eat Japanese or Chinese breakfast. My wife and I chose Japanese style, and what surprised us was the high quality ingredients here. We ate snow crab sauce soup and local fresh fish, and many other side dishes! If the hotel offers a choice, our suggestion is to go to the restaurant on the 30th floor, the scenery is super beautiful, and it gives people an exclusive sense of dignity. I didn't give it a full score because the hotel is not connected to the train station. Coupled with the dizzy, there is no sense of direction, moving the luggage from the train station to the hotel will be a bit difficult, especially in winter. Finally, although the hotel is not in the city, it is very convenient to go to the city and the airport. I think if the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the airport, it may attract more tourists.

I never stayed in Sapporo city in luxury, but I stayed for the first time this time. I thought it was a larger hotel, but it is small. Because it was a continuous night, I put it in the hot spring during the day, but it seemed to be popular with the local people, and it was quite crowded. The hot springs that enter the middle city under the freezing point are the best. However, the public bath is not a hot spring, only the open-air bath seems to be a hot spring.

This is my third stay here, and I have always felt poor customer service at the breakfast venue, and I have written about this in the hotel's questionnaire. The first time, I had them wear plastic gloves because of the coronavirus outbreak, and I forced them to bring the food to them even though there were elderly people there. The third time, I had a small child (2 years old) with me, so I asked them to take the food down after the meal. ”Please leave me alone,” he said coldly. (The same veteran staff member was clearly arrogant in his response.) The second time was not a buffet, but a kaiseki breakfast, and when I opened the lid of fish and other grilled food before it was lit, he scolded me and said, ``Please don't open it yet.'' I told her that I would open the lid because it would get hot, but she forgot and never came. When she did, she didn't even say ``sorry'' and said, ``Oh, it was a side dish for rice, but I couldn't make it in time, hahaha.'' A veteran female employee who responded to the incident. All the young staff members are responding wonderfully, but I wonder what's going on with these two older employees. I really want to be re-educated. I can't help but feel sorry for the young employees who are working really hard when I think of them having to put up with this kind of older staff.

The hotel is located 2 streets away from daimura aka JR sapporo. Surrounded by a few convenient store. Hotel has a complimentary onsen and ice cream (for after onsen). Room size still ok. Everyday the housekeeper will clean the room if guest state that they prefer their room to be cleaned up, however the making of beds will be done on alternate days which led to my surprise (it was stated on the decal that was place behind the room door). Overall it was a good stay. The breakfast was good.

It might have not been clearly mentioned but there is no air-conditioning provided, only central heating. During my time there, weather was cold out so the room only had 3 levels, low heat, medium heat and high heat. There is no way to sleep in those conditions and it took me a while to realize because the receptionist on the help desk phone did not speak English, so I went down to the lobby past midnight to ask the only staff available. Through some help on google translate and his hand gestures, I was told that I had to leave my windows open to let cold air into the room. This was not explained at any point during the check-in so I guess that's the downside for foreigners wanting to stay here. There's also a hot spring tax you have to pay when you check out. All things considered Jozankei is not a big town so everything is accessible and the hotel is generally comfortable otherwise.

Located in front of Sapporo City tram West 4 chome station, close to subway Daichi station and Daichi Park, convenient location. It is a accommodation that renovated the place where it was originally 々 Pachinko store, but I didn't feel much leftover. Seven eleven is currently on the first floor, and shopping is convenient. The front desk is on the second floor, and if you press ↑ from the first floor to the elevator, the button on the second floor seems to be automatically pushed. The lounge and breakfast venue were also on the second floor and were wide 々. Automatic check-in check-out machine is also installed, and at the time of the stay, the inn was explained in the corresponding hall at the counter, but the out is a machine, and it is smooth if there is no additional adjustment. The room floor is 3 ~ 6 floor. Security is substantial, and when the card borrowed at check-in to the card reader in the elevator that has risen to the second floor, the button on the first basement floor with the large bath blinks Therefore, push it during that time. Therefore, on the 3 ~ 6 floor, you cannot enter the accommodation floor except for your own accommodation floor. As for the room, the key is not hanging as the capsule hotel (the male / female 々 floor is divided, and both can stay), but the ceiling is high (the side is a little narrow?), and the feeling of pressure is not so much. Key storage, charging outlets, USB, TV and Wi-Fi are also installed. Common toilets and laundry are also installed on each floor with rooms (except for the third floor) and the first basement floor. The public bath and vending machine are on the first basement floor, and the card is swallowed down to the elevator. Naturally, there is an entrance door for each man and woman, and the card is swallowed here. There is also a sauna in the bath, and there is an explanation of the self-style Louru. The bath has a wide memory. A cold water machine is also installed in the dressing room, and water can be supplied on the spot, and a shower room is also installed, and the body can be washed without entering the bath. The time for the guests is 5:30-9:30, 15:00-26:00 (midnight 2:00) and put it slowly. Also, day trip bathing is also performed (2020/11 now, business hours 14:00-22:00, 1000 yen with towel tax), I think it is convenient. Breakfast (because it is paid, the plan with breakfast or the application at the front desk the day before) is a buffet form in the lounge on the second floor, 7:00-9:30. Because there were few guests, the amount of each 々 was reduced. However, there was soup curry, etc., and it was very good. The location and breakfast were good, and the rooms and public baths were comfortable and good, so I want to stay again.
