San Vitale Grande Hotels & Accommodations

Very close to the airport, about 15 euros by taxi, 20 minutes, breakfast is very rich, the room is very spacious and tidy, there is a large balcony, the front desk is very warm. It is quiet during the day and night, with plenty of parking spaces, moderate prices, suitable for friends who drive around the countries.

For his category it was just good, I was expecting something much better, a large room, a park bed for a baby with extra bed, a rest bed and pillows and clean. Unfortunately, the washing machine was shut ... The breakfast was relatively poor for the hotel category and not something special. As far as the location is concerned, it's not in the center but it has a bus stop outside which is very convenient because Bologna is a very good bus network, and I wouldn't suggest it as a good choice when you have a cart child. As regards staff, he spoke English but basics, and we could not easily understand by asking for information on activities (which is unfortunately true throughout Italy).

In my opinion when it comes to hotels. The first thing is hygiene. Then the reception. In this hostel, everything is fine. The reception was wonderful on the part of the host. Cleanliness is acceptable with request for improvement. The morning breakfast was wonderful and complete. The location was quiet which is a great choice.

This is luxury accommodation in a beautifully renovated 16th or 17th C palazzo at very reasonably tariff. The hotel is in a convenient location a 15 minute walk from the Castello Estenese and Duomo. The furniture in the public spaces is high quality antiques. I especially noted the stair landing with three ”grandfather”clocks. The dining rooms for prima colazione are of an elegance that I suspect was carried over from its former life as a palazzo di una famiglia importante. My room on the top floor was done in rather feminine style and had its own little spiral staircase up to it's dormer window with views over gardens behind the hotel. It was extremely comfortable and tranquil. The staff at reception were engaging and charming. They were able to direct me one morning to a are school supply shop where I was able to purchase two of the flattish and spacious briefcases that Italian primary and middle school pupils use for thir books and supplies instead of too heavy back packs. I have only seen these in Italy. The staff had to do some research and they did it quite well. I would not hesitate to recommend Duchessa Usabella Hotel to anyone with discerning taste who is visiting Ferrara

It’s relatively close to the Ferrari Museum, and it’s been 15 minutes walk. Hotels are generally self-driving, and there are very few cars like us. Breakfast is very rich. There are no restaurants around to pay attention. They can only tell the hotel that they are going to drive the bus to their own restaurant in the distance, or they can order the pizza delivery at the front desk.

We checked in as part of a tour group at around 8 pm from Rome. We were tired and wanted to sleep, but discovered that our room's AC wasn't working. We included a picture of it with no display. Buttons are not responding at all. We ask our tour leader to help us get this problem fixed. Had a big day tomorrow, so we needed as much rest as we could. Front desk said they'd fix the problem, but no one showed up to our room. After waiting for sometime, they said they had fixed it from their end, but it was clearly not working at all. At almost 10 pm, we were told by our tour group leader that they were going to switch us to a different room. Frustrated, because we had already unpacked our things/clothes so we could get up and move early morning, we now had to repack everything then unpack again. What's worse is, they didn't have anyone from the hotel itself assist us with transferring, but had our tour leader act as their bellboy! They gave an excuse that they were understaffed. No apologies,no compensation, no thoughtfulness or professionalism. It was even borderline racism because they used our tour guide as their bellboy when this whole fiasco was their fault! Just because we're Filipino doesn't mean we get treated worst than any other paying guest of this hotel. We're very disappointed with their service, and will spread our negative experience with as many review sites as we can. This NOT how you treat guests of your hotel.

The hotel is ideally situated as an overnighter. Not too far away from the highway, but still in a quit neighbourhood. Ample free parking available and bar/restaurant available at the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to try the restaurant as it was still closed due to the thunderstorms the region had suffered and that had caused some damage.

Very good stay in this modern clean hotel. Clever automatic check in for out of hours

In the old town of Bologna, it is close to the convention center and the city centre. Even better, the hotel has a good environment, the sun is shining, the air is fresh and circulated, and it is much better than the hotels in the dark alleys in Modena. Even better, there are supermarkets near the hotel, a delicious Chinese restaurant, and a delicious local restaurant. Even better, the hotel staff are super kind and friendly. It's perfect.
