After a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

Was a nice experience staying at the Medina hotel. It was conveniently located a few km from many famous sites and good restaurants, nice pool, and well maintained. Rooms were simple, but clean.

I have been to dozens of countries, and this is the first time I have encountered such a rubbish hotel. Not only was the room very small, but you could smell a stench as soon as you entered it. The toilet was even more disgusting. When I first checked in, I wanted to wash my hands in the toilet but it was so smelly that I almost vomited. The hotel restaurant staff have a very poor attitude and basically no sense of proactive service. Their English proficiency is almost zero and they are unwilling to find ways to communicate with guests. I ordered a pilaf and was served a small plate of white rice as shown in the picture. Know what you want to do. There were flies flying around in the restaurant, and I was very hungry the night I checked in. At night, dogs were all barking around the hotel, and they couldn't stop, which seriously affected their rest. You start knocking on the door from room to room at around six o'clock in the morning. Are you worried that the guests are resting too well? That is to say, the reception at the front desk is barely satisfactory, both in terms of English level and service attitude.

A good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, "Wait a minute, now it's double the price." Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless 😓, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.

A hotel with good facilities and environment in the old city. The decoration style is elegant and comfortable, and the interior space of the rooms is considerable. The only drawback is that the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry areas, and the toilet drain function is defective. Overall, it's remarkable.

Clean hotel, nice staff. Delicious breakfasts, but a lot of flour, I would like more protein, but there is plenty to choose from. The bathroom leaked after the shower, the whole floor was in water, because of this there was an unpleasant smell of raw water in the bathroom. The rooms are clean, good, soft bed linen

Terrible hotel with good location. There is no soundproofing, people are making noise by the pool all night. They asked for a lunch box instead of breakfast, but nothing was prepared. The administrators are not helpful, they are stupid.

Be careful when booking this hotel! First of all, it's not worth the money (I booked it for more than 600 a day). When checking out, there was a young lady at the front desk. Due to poor language communication (my English is not very good and her English is not very good), I didn’t know what she was talking about. Later, she asked me to pay. I thought it was paying tax, but then I received the payment message and found out it was US$165. I was confused at the time, and after asking, I found out it was room fee. I told her that my room fee had already been paid when making the reservation. Then she checked the order, confirmed that I had paid and then said she would give me a refund. However, after one operation, not only was there no refund, but my mobile phone was charged again. A purchase notification of US$165 has arrived! Confused, completely confused. A total of two purchases of US$165! Sigh... I was in a hurry to catch the train, so I contacted Ctrip customer service to explain the situation and then left. The customer service said they would help me contact the hotel to solve the problem. Later, I learned through Ctrip customer service that Ctrip was not directly linked to this hotel, but was online through a third-party booking platform. Therefore, contacting this hotel had to go through a third-party platform, which was a very troublesome process. Sigh... It has been more than a month since the incident happened. Ctrip has been communicating with the hotel, but the problem is still unresolved. The hotel always says that it is checking for various reasons, and my two payments of US$165 have still not been refunded. The front desk staff at this hotel are so amateurish. Be careful when booking this hotel!

哎，這家酒店真的很難評。 想噴它的地方很多，但它也並非一無是處。 第一天晚上到的時候，真想爆炸：1房間給我搞錯！我先去了一個房間，門打開怎麼有兩個箱子！不敢進去怕被人打死，於是找前台給我去開門確認。沒想到裏面真的住着客人！我猜應該也把對方嚇得半死。2網上付錢過，他們自己給我搞錯了，又讓我付款了一次。還好及時發現退回來了。3房間的門是外開的，並且沒有安全扣。説真的有安全焦慮的人，真的會焦慮。4房間的隔音真的不好，門縫比較大，外面的人的聲音全傳到房間裏。就上述這些東西，我真的已經想好了第二天給它全差評。但是第二天有了比較好的體驗。首先是早飯的餐廳，環境不錯，還有這個麻雀大的酒店，菜色對得起它的規模。泳池每天都在加水，基礎清潔。還有房間的裝修，傢俱，其實還算可以，基本和圖片沒有出入。服務員我看之前大家説很差，可能這次換了一波？對我們態度是不錯的。英語差了點，但是我們英語也很爛。連住了兩天，感覺這家店其實想好好經營的，可能是酒店管理經驗不足，導致裏面混亂，細節不太行。有上升空間，手下留情不給大差評。
