Emeria Dinard Thalasso Spa

Great lovation for a shoreline walk and excursion to Saint-Malo with a shuttle boat (every 20 mins). Hotel is great with very nice spa and treatments

We would love to have given this 4.5 stars. We had a wonderful time here. We were travelling with a 12 week old baby and it was our first trip away with her. Firstly, the hotel allowed us to upgrade to a suite at short notice. The suite was amazing. Spacious with a separate living area where we could hang out after the baby went to bed. It’s recently been refurbished. It has a very modern opulent feeling to it. The room is very well decorated. There was a free minibar although it was not topped up during our seven night stay. The views from the hotel are extraordinary. We had a sea view. The view from the bedroom was stunning. The staff were accommodating for our baby. They supplied a bath and a cot. They did a great job. There are a few things stopping this hotel get 5 stars, which they could easily fix. First, there are some penny pinching behaviours. The car park is often full because of the spa guests. The spa is excellent by the way. But as hotel guests paying €3,000 for a suite, we felt a bit hard done by to be asked to pay €15 to put the car in the garage if the car park was full. The manager offered a good resolution to this but it’s a shame it had to come to that. Secondly, there were times when we just wanted a coffee but the baby was asleep and the machine in the room was too loud. That’s fine, but when we tried making a coffee upstairs, the bar manager got very angsty with us. Seemed a bit weird. Third, the room needs some minor tweaks. It needs a phone - we had to physically walk to reception or the restaurant for everything, which was a shame. Particularly when we wanted milk for a cup of tea in the morning (which was not supplied in the room). The separate toilet in the living room lacked a sink so we had to walk through the bedroom to the other bathroom to wash our hands. Was very weird. Overall, a great place to stay and we hope to return soon.

A great hotel with some (small) problems. The spa has been spotless and a relaxing experience. The breakfast is good but the team in busy times has not able to cope with demand and re-supply is too slow. Biggest problem has been an awful stinky smell at night coming from the water tube in the toilet. So strong that we have been unable to sleep and the team of the Emeria has been reluctant to help.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Dinard, with plenty of parking spaces. Newly renovated. Bed is comfortable. The classic room we stayed in is not spacious, but well planned. The terrace outside faces a common garden where hotel guests who come with their animal companions are free to let them run around. More plants should be planted between the rooms to create more privacy

We spent an amazing 4 night stay at Emeria. We were really impressed by the staff welcome and professionalism, the location that is ideal for a retreat and relaxation and the superior F&B services that we enjoyed throughout our stay. The SPA is a must visit: highly qualitfied experts and amazing facility. We'll definitely come back.

Please ignore the negative reviews, this place is perfection. We received a lovely welcome from reception which was needed after a seven hour drive. Check in was seamless. The hotel is stunning. The decor is very tasteful, the views are amazing and what a superb location to visit Dinard and the surrounding areas. I am always apprehensive about eating in hotel restaurants. Normally I find them overpriced and underwhelming. We dined (twice) in Osins restaurant. Fabulous views of the sea, attentive staff and really good food. It did not disappoint. I cannot wait to go back…

Excellent infrastructure, very clean and very friendly & competent staff. Amazing location and very good value for money!

Our recent visit was our fourth visit to the hotel - recent modernisation in the public areas is very good but I think it's now time to give the bedrooms a good make-over as they are now getting a little tired - the setting of this hotel is superb and the staff very professional and attentive - the traditional restaurant is excellent and offers a lovely dining experience, and not overly expensive. We love this hotel and will definitely continue to stay here in the future !
