We absolutely loved our stay at the Clan hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and was offered to have our luggage taken up to our room as soon as we arrived. The concierge, bar tender, every staff that we engaged with had incredible customer service, very helpful, made us feel very special. Loved the location, the room was very new, very clean, amazing housekeeping! And if you love swimming or chilling by a pool with a view, they have the perfect rooftop pool for you!! We were very happy with the Clan hotel! Would recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore, looking for a place, that is super convenient, central, comfy and with great service,

Was looking forward so much to a serviced apartment, but felt the service was sorely lacking. Checking into the room, everything seemed old and slightly dirty. Worst part is when the bathtub tap was faulty and they took 2 hours to send someone over, despite reception assuring ”soon”. Understand it's a Sunday and lack of manpower, but the communication is so poor. They eventually fixed it but the technician was complaining about working alone on a Sunday. Also they do not help to send your food / delivery to your room, so you have to collect it. Something I expect from a 3/4 star hotel, but definitely not a serviced apartment. TV is also old, which I believe as a serviced apartment in the CBD area should be upgraded to at least a FHD TV. Only saving grace was the gym and pool, besides the location. Overall was disappointed with the service, but apartment is decent enough for the price (back then during covid times) and location.

I went for solo staycation as I had been wanting to go but sadly they closed to assist government's support in covid-19 housing of SHN individuals hence my staycation was cancelled. Glad that they open and went for a night solo staycation. What attracted me is their big room and big bathtub beside the window, and smaller infinity pool hence I look forward to staying here. I would say the location is abit far off from the attractions and hence quieter, especially during weekends. The food garden at Asia Square Tower 1 & 2 opens only on weekdays for working staff. Hence, if you are staying on weekends, u will need to walk about 5 minutes to Lau Pa Sat for meal or walk to MBS which takes about 15 minutes. Otherwise, you will need to take a train to elsewhere for meal. Marina Bay Link Mall has Subway and Toast Box opening on weekends though. There are 2 restaurants open on weekends at Asia Square Tower 2 ground level but not much variety. The hotel room is big enough, clean and I love the bathtub beside the window. Not many hotels come with bathtub that is beside the window and the view is great. Basic necessities are there, just that there is no comb. I'm quite surprised many 5-star hotels do not provide comb. I would think this is probably something for hotels to look into. They do provide a travel plug in case u have forgotten to bring. They also provide essential oil so that u can rub on to have a gd slp and wet wipe (1pc per night) for safe stay. I like the swimming pool which is an infinity pool. It was quiet when I went which is great and not crowded. There is also free whirlpool and steam room at their spa. The gym is really perfect with all main equipments there. They look new and not wear off. Maintenance is great! I have never gone to their restaurants but do note that they have happy hour for affordable draft beers. Visit their website to find out more. I would stay again probably during weekdays so that I can easy access to more food. Especially at night on weekends, it might be quieter for ladies who are on solo staycation. Hope my review helps. :)

The room & toilet is very clean. The hostel is well organize and provided very local breakfast during the stay. The hostel location is great. Nearby 2 MRT stations and there are plenty of local food at the surrounding area. I like the building itself which is a renovated hostel in an old building. Recommend travelers to stay here if you do wants to enjoy solo trip.

The rooms are awesome! Very oriental for some of the furnitures but also sleek at the same time! Rooms are big and spacious! Rain shower and normal shower provided! There is also a radio/bluetooth speaker that you can connect to but the tv doesnt have smart tv. And the thing i love the most is the BREAKFAST! Most hotel breakfast plain eggs and bread and they look pathetic but their breakfast is awesome! Wide range of drinks and mains to choose from! I have to say i love everything except the service there. The service was quite disappointing... when i check in, they didnt bother to check that i had breakfast for 2 and tell me the location or the timing for it. They didnt provide me the wifi sheet either. I had to remember and go back to ask them on the way out. I love to sleep in bathrobes too so when i book this hotel i checked and made sure that there was bathrobes in the description. When i check in there wasnt any so i went to ask them for it and they told me all the rooms dont have bathrobes. If you dont have it, you should not have it in your description for amenities. Suddenly 20mins later when i was asleep they came knocking with bathrobes so now im confused if they do have it and did not put it or i dont know, i have no clue. Lastly even when checkout, no one was there either. I didnt know where the checkout box is cause other hotels would have a huge sign or at least put it visible. Theirs was near the counter so i didnt see it there. Waited for awhile before looking and found a basket at the side with a small sign. Would be nice if there was someone there to guide

Check in put a real dampener to our couple and 30th anniversary get away. The check in time was 3pm and to be safe we arrived at 4pm. Soon after completing all the documentation for checking in, we were left hanging and waiting for more than an Hour. We were not told anything. The male Indian staff that attended to us was friendly but disappeared after a while. The new female staff did not really know the situation and told us that our room was still not ready at 5.15pm. We were told that the manager was aware and in another 20 minutes, they would have our room ready. No welcome drinks were offered whilst we sat there being paraded to the other hotel staff and guest. The manager did not come personally to explain anything to us. We had to approach the front office staff to enquire about the long delay. We finally got the keys to our room at 5.30pm. At these prices for this higher class hotel, we would have at least expected better treatment and service. This is something I would expect at a budget hotel. Sad that it happened at the start of the much awaited 2 night get away.

This is a great little boutique hotel in the heart of Ann Siang Hill. The service was phenomenal - the entire staff was super friendly, and it was easy to chat with them via WhatsApp when I was out and about in the city and had questions. I liked my room - I would recommend getting a larger one, as the standard ones are quite small. I really appreciated the use of refillable dispensers for soap, shampoo, etc. - all hotels should do away with sample-size containers and move to these more eco-friendly options instead. Although my room was directly on the street, it wasn’t super loud. The location fantastic - tons of restaurants and bars are literally on the same street just downstairs, and Amoy Food Center and Amoy food street are a 5 minute walk away. My only caveats are that the front desk isn’t staffed 24 hours, so if you need to leave your luggage, you will have to claim it by 8 PM. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a great part of Singapore.

The location of the hotel is good and the suite is very big. There are also 2 bathrooms available for the 2 bedroom suites which makes it much more convenient. 1 thing that can be further improved would be the cleanliness of the hotel. The carpet was wet when we checked in and there are also food (?) stains on the carpet in one of the room. Overall it is a great stay and I would return again.

Great location with food all around - Maxwell hawker centre in front, Tanjong Pagar Korean eateries beyond that, Chinatown on the right, Amoy food centre on the left. The room was comfortable with attached toilet, adjustable aircon temperature, and it was quite brightly lit. Toiletries were provided including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush & toothpaste, shower cap, shaving kit, bedroom slippers, bathrobe, hair dryer. Just bring your own comb and facial toiletries. Mini bar was free and restocked daily with canned soft drinks, Tiger Beer and mineral water. I would stay again if the price drops. It is quite pricey. No parking available but it’s easy to get to, midway between 3 MRT stations - Tg Pagar, Chinatown and Telok Ayer. Maxwell MRT is under construction down the road, but there was no noise or dust.

It was ok but no hostel I would book a second time. It is kept clean but the surroundings of the hostel don't make an alone travelling woman feel comfortable at night. For the price it was ok. And the lookers are good.

Thumbup - Nice Waterfront View (day view serene, night view charming, even got to see National Day Parade Preview Fireworks). Good location, just a stone throw from Great World City. Received complimentary slice of cake for birthday. Quite tasty. Neutral - Delayed check. Front desk informed that due to manpower shortage, room was not ready. Seems like not much coordination between Dept e.g Front desk not aware of cake arrangement, Cake delivered late night.. Buffet breakfast spread not as good as Orchard Hotel under the same hotel group. eg. No local delite such as Chee Cheong Fun, Chinese vegetarian friendly snacks Thumb down - Drawers of workstation not properly checked - Found left behind butter; Informed reception hotline, no apology but told me ”Just throw away” (stunned by her response); Requested 2 foam pillows, message conveyed to Housekeeping became 1; Mini bar not working, informed but the same reception asked me is it aircon spoilt. Sigh. Not paying attention or too tired working night shift ?? Emailed to provide suggestions to improve on dept coordination, no response..Maybe we are locals, so suggestions not being valued?? LOL Like to give 3.5 stars but no such option. 4 stars? Maybe in future if stay again and see improvement, will give 4 or even 5 stars

This was my 2nd staycation at Amara Hotel. was warmly greeted by the cheerful staff, but he wasn't the one giving the room keys. only one counter staff was there. no upgrades or extensions, probably because the pandemic is over. The room is spacious but a little dim and the facilities such as the bathtub and drawers were a little run down. The room card holder drops out, managed to push it back. The television was quite dated in hi-tech Singapore. TV program seems crop and not fitting into the screen. For a 4 star hotel, i expect much better and well furnished facilities. i like the bright toilet though. The aircon is fantastic, just what we need in this hot and humid country. Getting around is convenient and there are lots of eateries around. Another relaxing staycation here at Amara Hotel. Booked during promotion. hope this prices will make a come back. but from what i've seen, room rates have definitely gone up quite a fair bit.

The room was clean and the views were wonderful; being able to see the CBD outline of the city. The location of the hotel makes it convenient to explore around. The adoption of sustainable implementations in the hotel (with filtered water dispenser & big windows to capture daylight) made the stay pleasant. Would strongly recommend and hope to go back again.

Fuss free check in & check out. All my requests were fulfilled. Right next to Zhongshan mall and park. Near bus stop too. Housekeeping was efficient. Room was mostly clean and smelled fresh. Only the carpet looked old with some stains - it would be better if they removed it. Sound proofing was good. But there was a constant clicking noise inside the room, from either the devices or the sensors. I'm highly sensitive to noise so this was a minor annoyance. But overall, the quality & service was very good!

I would like to compliment Dytiana from the Club Team for giving such excellent hospitality service, even though it is just 2D1N. From Check-In to Check-Out, everything was so smooth and she even watched out for the guest that is in the Club Lounge to ensure better services is provided. She even specially informed me of the Club Lounge's timings so that the Guest would not forget, even though it is already stated in the Letter provided to guest. Also, small things like the event you mentioned going to, she could remember, and she would ask how was it, how's your day, and how's your stay. Breakfast at Ginger went smoothly, although the restaurant is packed, the staff ensured less waiting time and smooth interchange of guests. The chefs also ensured that the food is always topped up, and no guests is left waiting. In conclusion, the stay at Parkroyal on Beach Road is definitely a joyable stay.

Check-in was very quick, lobby design was chic and classy. We got the Deluxe King Room at one of the higher floors. View was not too bad, opposite Sofitel and Orchid Hotel, with HDB nearby. Room cleanliness is definitely a plus. Was impressed that the staff sent a complimentary birthday cake - was delicious! Staff are helpful and kind. Room had an interesting design, with open concept bathroom. TV in room only had local channels, the Demand movies did not work. Suggest to bring your own laptop. Hotel breakfast was satisfactory. The swimming pool was not that great, quite small and shallow but that's okay. Overall, very satisfied with our experience and will definitely come back for the affordable price.

The room was great tho it looks much smaller than the photos show. There is no bidet in the bathrooms and no proper toilet paper? The tissues provided looked more like facial tissues rather than something to wipe yourself with, so i didnt really feel clean after peeing lol. The service was good, check in and check out was quick and easy. Overall, i really enjoyed my stay there so thank you!

I have stayed here before and i always took the room with balcony and i would say that i loved the hotel because of its comfortness and the facilities . The check-in trainee lady(probably hair was shoulder length) was friendly and helpful . 👍 The only 2 things lacking are: 1)no bidet spray from the first time i stayed here, which i think its rather important in every hotel . Please consider installing in every room . 2)the wifi connected to the tv was bad , cant even watch anything . The tv signal was bad too but i called up in the evening and asked if they can help on it and they said will reset . And it works ! Atleast we were able to watched tv during the night . Thank you for the efficient service . 👍 Room was clean . Usual room amenities and toiletries were provided . There is self service laundry and iron, as well as ice machine dispenser on level 4(same level as gym and pool) . There is also a convenient store few minutes away next to the hotel . Overall, its been a wonderful stay . I would be back again next time . Thank you, Hotel Boss 🥰

My hubby and I always wanted to visit Funan Mall but we were never able to find the time. Living in Singapore has been kind of hectic. So I decided I wanted to try LYF Funan for a 2 nights staycay and the timing and price was right so I grab it during my birthday. It was my 1st time staying at this serviced apartment type of hotel. No TV in the room so it took a little adjustment on my hubby's part. I liked that my bed was beside the window and we had a sky view from our 10th floor. Took a pic of the lift area as I was curious how the hotel creatively depict each floor. Checking in was easy and counter staff was friendly. This is the first time I'm handed my toothbrush and toothpaste at the counter. The only lift up to the hotel on the 4th Floor took us a while to look for it though. Parking in the mall was not that flexible as we had to pay a flat fee throughout our stay in the mall and we cannot move in and out with our car. So we took the public transport and walked throughout our 2 days stay. It was also good exploring that part of town as well on foot. In terms of facilities within the hotel, we did not use. But in terms of food, it is pretty convenient as there are lots to choose from within Funan Mall. There is also a linked bridge directly to Fort Canning but we did not have the time to go explore that area.

Location is good with many good choices around. Very chill to take a walk along Singapore river during the night. However upon checking into the room the floor was very dusty to step on. There were dust around the room too and the sofa bed was just uncomfortable to sit on (feel dusty and itchy). Sink was very small so water sprays everywhere when we are washing up. Toilet and bath was small too that we have to be very careful with our movements. Not the cleanest but ok to use.

Furama city centre is a popular hotel in Chinatown with a distinct design. The hotel is old looking and signs of its age are not difficult to find from the fading tiles to the aged interior. Here are the pros and cons once we look beyond its looks: Pros: 1. The location is very good. It is located opposite a mall Chinatown Point that you can find many types of food and nice shopping stores like Uniqlo. 2. The breakfast is a must. It costs $10 but its value goes beyond that. For $10 you get unlimited choices of coffee from cappuccino, latte, espresso and plain coffee. U also get orange, yogurt and nice Asian food like bee Hoon, buns, cut fruits and noodles. The live egg omelette station is also a must. 3. It is a well equipped hotel with a small gym and a functioning swimming pool in level 6. There is a drinking water dispenser you can go to fill up your water (no need to boil on your own). Cons: 1. There are limited local Channels for the TV. The cable channels does not work. The remote is also difficult to use and there are dead pixels on the Tv. It’s best to bring your iPad for entertainment. 2. Service has room to improve. The self help front desk check out system does not work. It is wasted time as you have to queue up with the people checking in after that. The front desk staff is also slow. Overall there are pros and cons with this hotel. It has a good location with nice breakfast that is value for money. The service and room amenities can be improved but is reasonable if you manage to secure the room on discount.
