Very nice hotel for a good price with a spectacular view and a rooftop pool. Conveniently located in walking distance from Rio's Terminal Novo Rio coach station. The tram to Rio's Santos Dumont airport stops in front of the hotel and it takes only about 20 mins to get there. Perfect for a short stay or if you just need a hotel to connect from the coach to the airplane or vice versa.

The room we had was nice, spacious and pretty. The bad thing was that the view was towards an ugly area on the outside. Unfortunately the location is not in a nice place or one that seems safe. The breakfast was basic.

Good hotel! Good location 20/30min from Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon, Leme ... Friendly staff who speak English. The hotel food is nice, there is enough choice and the cuisine is from a different culture every night.

Great location

First of all, it is impossible to contact the hotel by phone, but when I requested information about early check-in by email, I was told that it was possible, but when I got there I was unable to check in before I had to leave for the event I was going to attend. I had to check in on my return in the middle of the night and when I requested late checkout, I was also denied. Anyway, I decided to pay more for this hotel because I had a great experience in 2019, but I feel like I wasted money since I used the hotel for less than 7 hours. In addition, the Hotel Intercity Porto Maravilha has deteriorated considerably since my last stay. I was excited to go back, but I had a terrible experience.

Hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. Negative point for the temperature of the showers that are not regulated (it gets too cold or too hot).

Excellent hotel, with important amenities, such as an iron and comfortable bed. It's worth the stay, even for those who are wary of its location.
