"The view was awesome, the swimming was cold for the time of year and wasn't heated, probably under refurbishment. The apartment was great, good night of sleep other than the early morning bangs and clangs form the room I was in which had the cleaners cupboard, sometimes at 6:30 am in the morning. No gym though. Self contained with a clothes Airer outside in the garden area. Good cake for breakfast"

"We went for our friends wedding, with our 2yrs old daughter. The food is incredible, all the products are local, their jams made of oranges and passion fruit are to die for! The chefs in the kitchen and the pizza master are very talented and their food is exceptional! Wood fired oven pizzas are some of the best I ever had in my life! the location is a dream, everything was renovated by Marco and his father with the help of Signora Enza and their daughter. Behind the reception you can see the pictures of where they started from. Seeing the dreamlike location they have built together is incredible. The porcelain and the old family furniture in the big dining hall came out of a dream, literally, you could spend the whole day looking and wandering about the stories behind every little piece. The attention to detail is on point, from the very clean and tidy rooms to the swimming pool area passing through the garden and the orange orchard. Our daughter couldn't be happier in the playground and running around the whole place. Marco and his mother Enza are the best host! They are very helpful and ready to fulfill every request, even of a picky 2yrs old eater. We couldn't compliment and thank them enough. The staff is great and they work really hard to make everything perfect. Our friends wedding was even more magical thanks to the professionalism of everyone working there. We fell in love with every single detail. We can't wait to come back and visit you over and over again.we Strongly recommend it!!!!"

If you arrive in hours where there is no one at the reception, as I read that some clients have noticed, they are still very available and with their instructions sent via WhatsApp you can access the room quietly. There are no problems. Spacious and modern rooms. Excellent breakfast. There are very good advice for both restaurant and visits. The hotel is quiet and in good position for both working trips and holidays, central location to reach Siracusa and to reach all the beautiful beaches around the area."

"It didn’t take very long for us to form a lasting impression of this place. Arriving after dark on a Friday evening and parking in the ample parking space adjacent to the entrance, we are warmly greeted by Daniele, who took care of every single detail of our short stay. After a refreshing shower, we made our way to the restaurant, beautifully appointed and with an open kitchen for us to view what was going on. As usual, the menu was supplemented by daily specials, and we dipped in and out of both, ending up tasting at least seven different dishes all prepared and served single-handedly by Daniele. They rear the famous Suino Nero on the premises, something we were lucky enough to experience firsthand the following morning. Their hams, salamis and lardo made excellent accompaniments to both our dinner as well as breakfast, and the attention to detail lavished on the dishes is evident everywhere else you look around. Their home-made wine and olive oil hold their own out against some of the very best in the region, and are hundred percent organic, of course. After a restful sleep, we had a stroll around the entire property, walking past the scattered suites, 10 in all and eventually arrived at the pool area, set on raised ground with beautiful views of the surrounding olive groves in the countryside. A very short visit, unfortunately, but enough for us to decide this is a place that we will want to come back to. This especially after meeting the lovely owners, Paolo and Graziella, and realising how much love these two wonderful people have put into setting up Domus Hyblaea"
