My wife and I chose this property as it was reasonably close to Volterra - the Hilltop city we were visiting the following day. One major problem was locating the property using our GPS system. We ended up on a tractor road at some distance from the property. With some help from neighbors we did find it. IF one titles the property BIOagriturismo Il Cerreto, there is no problem. And as the farm promotes sustainability and uses its produce/products in their restaurant this mkaes sense. We found the location to be beautiful - nestled in the rolling hills of West Tuscany. We enjoyed our stay, were treated quite well, and found the property enchanting. We would stay here again.

Loved our stay. Restaurant was wonderful. Rooms were large and very clean. Our highlight was visiting the cows that were on the property. Definitely a good place to stay.

Beautiful property. Great staff who will go out of their way to help you. Amazing food (vegetarian). Two swimming pools (one for kids) if you want to sunbathe and/or swim. I highly recommend Il Cerreto if you are looking to stay in this area!

First visit here and what a fantastic visit it was. The setting is really nice, 9/10. Accommodation was also a 9 out of 10, clean, cooking facilities in the apar**ent, a fridge which was very welcome in the 38 degree heat. The pool area is certainly very pretty with a bio natural pool, very clean and great for cooling off, however, lack of umbrellas for shade meant that this area only scores an 8 out of 10. However, there are other places to stretch out on the sun beds and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. The food, excellent, vegan catered for, gluten free catered for with a good selection at breakfast and lovely tasty and imaginative dishes for evening meal, all served at the restaurant by superb friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, especially Angelo and Stephanie. Also a well stocked bio shop selling produce from the farm. Another fantastic and nice touch was the welcome box of fresh ingredients when we arrived. Overall, 9 out of 10 and I’m sure we will be visiting again.

Absolutely awesome. Returning from a trip to Pisa we stopped here for dinner. Best decision of the day. "Must do" in the Volterra/Pomerance region if you like vegetarian food and beautiful surroundings. The staff was also very friendly.

Wonderful organic hotel in a good location to discover Tuscany with all its facets. Beautiful, large rooms, a wonderful garden with an organic pool and a lovable golden retriever. The real highlight, however, is the associated restaurant with great, vegetarian cuisine à la farm to table. Also good pizzas on weekends. The food was so good that we ate there twice and as a self-confessed meat eater, I felt very comfortable.
