The Conceirge, Savo, went above and beyond and completely exceeded our expectations when assisting us with travel plans. The room was cleaned twice daily. Front desk staff were all professional and kind. The food was wonderful. Our room had a lovely view of the park. We enjoyed the walk to the Duomo and charm of the surrounding area. We were happy with everything this hotel had to offer.

I was lunching at VMaison several months ago, but I remember very well the experience that was very good. I ordered fantastic club-sandwitchs, very recommended, and a great tiramisu. The bath had significant appeal with brass fittings and a funky, unusually shaped, double sinks. The Michelin-starred restaurant is the Casa's highlight attraction with it's menu of traditional Italian specials accompanied by a dash of East Asian influences. I fell for the fish (pan-fried crustaceans).............heavenly. So , if you want a small boutique hotel that aims to be your home away from home..............then try the........... This is my second time at Hotel Tocq, there’s no better recommendation than that. The location is great, near Garibaldi station so not far from the central station either but in a much nicer and safer area. Well connected with metro, tram and suburban train. Walking distance to a lot of nice areas. The breakfast buffet is rich, it has a lot of savoury and sweet options and also caters to vegans and lactose intolerant. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. I would only improve on some things included in the room: -the slippers (there’s always one pair instead of two, but they will give you the other if requested); -there’s no where to put the soap so maybe a hand soap dispenser would be better than the bar soap; - for lingerie stays it could be useful to have somewhere to store the clothes, am armoire or some drawers.

Due to work, I've stayed in lots of hotels, in different countries. This is the first time I really wanted to have more time in the hotel. Lovely indoor facilities of course. But, there is this amazing park-area in the back. It looks like an endless forest but it's in the middle of Milano! A long breakfast, sitting in the outdoor area would have been so nice. Next time..........

after reading a few bad reviews about the hotel i was skeptical about it however we found that it is actually very nice and didn't look like the pictures people have put on here. Our room was very spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed; the bathroom was also nice and clean with a good enough shower. the hotel is situated in china town and a bit further out than the main part of Milan so don't be fooled by the hotel name 'city center' because it is not! We didn't mind this though because we had an amazing receptionist inform us that the metro was a five minute walk and so was the nearest tram stop so we used trams the whole time we were there to get into Duomo which was very easy! The receptionist who informed us of this also gave us a map with lots of key places to visit and information about the city which was very helpful to us because we had never visited before (i think her name was francesca). The breakfast was also nice but we thought it had a very random and limited selection. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

The location is very good in Chinatown; the hotel is quite new and has a sense of design. However, the room we stayed in had a strong paint smell. After checkin, we immediately opened the door and window and went out. When we slept, we had to open the door and window because the taste was very pungent, which led to mosquitoes and streets in the middle of the night. The sound is also painty.. In short, the price is still there, I suggest you check the paint smell of the room when you check in.
