3 Star Hotels in Mexico City

We stayed at the hotel for one night, right after the hard first day in Mexico. We are very tired because examined the capital immediately after a long flight ... There were no special impressions about the hotel, everything was quite satisfactory. The room is comfortable, we had a good rest. The restaurant offered us both European and Mexican cuisine, it is quite possible to relax after a hard day.

The area is not very trafficked, the centre is a bit far away. Good support to go to the main archaeological sites near CdMx. Cleaning OK, simple but good breakfast..

The furious baggage; the terminal to pay with card without service. The closet in the room located very removed from the entrance. The second floor in total darkness. Lost electric contacts. The regular breakfast, hard bread. When paying food the shopper took 17 minutes to give me the change

Although the rooms are small, the facilities are old. But the hotel service is really good, the hotel location is also very good, on the reform avenue, close to the museum and the historical and cultural center, a kilogram at the door, frequent departures. It's easy to go anywhere. There is a big mall on foot. Pedestrian street, nightclubs are also very close, all kinds of hotel street stalls are full of sights. I was inexplicably hungry in the evening (suffocated), and slipped to the taco stall at the back door of the hotel to buy snacks, and the opposite stall to buy snacks or something, both felt safe. From time to time I see hotel staff coming out from behind to inspect the neighborhood.

We arrived very late at night/early morning having had a very long journey and the member of staff on duty was far from welcoming. Our credit card was declined for payment (yet we had no trouble with it anywhere else on our trip) so make sure you take enough cash to cover the cost. The rooms are a decent size but looking old and faded. There is no A/C, a fan is provided but it is quite noisy and the room is quite stuffy. A lot of people seemed to sleep with their doors open which was a bit disconcerting as you could see directly into the room. The best bit of the hotel was the shower which was very good. The breakfast we took on the first day was fine with a wide choice although some of it had been sitting around for a long time. Our keys seemed to lock out every day so we constantly had to go down to get them re-programmed. The main issue was when I returned to my room during the day. The room was unlocked, with the door propped open with the wastepaper basket. Anyone could have come in and taken anything. There were no cleaners in sight. When I complained, they seemed more concerned about whether anything had been stolen rather than the fact it had been left open and didn't seem to think it was anything serious. The hotel is centrally located and it is easy to walk to the main tourist sights. However, there were too many faults to recommend it and I will certainly not return there.

We have just left the Hotel MX Garibaldi and have had a wonderful holiday, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy and the price is very reasonable. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 and usually consists of eggs beans and some different meat, cereal toast and jam. The hotel is has a contact that will arrange bus or private tours to all the local attractions and they were very reasonably priced, on time, friendly and professional The area the hotel is located in is very lively at night with lots of mariachis playing in the square until early in the morning. there’s a fantastic taco shack opposite and a few little bars and restaurants scattered close by. It’s a 20 minute walk in to the new town and about 35 in to Centro. There’s a huge market no more than 5 minutes away where you can buy pretty much anything you can think of with lots of Street food vendors. There’s no air con in the rooms but a large fan is provided and this was more than enough for us to keep the room cool. It is a noisy area and you can hear music from outside but it didn’t interfere with our sleep. I’m giving them 5 stars because they are very inexpensive, friendly and helpful. We had a great stay thanks !

It has extremely convenient location and the hotel building itself has a long history. Very good view from the small balcony in the room. The lift is manually controlled so you can feel the history of the hotel. Staff is very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel and it was our first time in Mexico City. It felt safe and secure since guests need to use their key to be allowed into the lobby. It’s conveniently located to most of the places we wanted to visit. At night time, it’s quiet, at least, we didn’t hear noise in our room. The breakfast was really good as well. The staff are all very friendly and greet everyone. There’s a cafe and seafood restaurant attached to the hotel. The bathrooms do not have a lot of space, almost like closet size. For the price and the location where it’s situated, it was worth the price and definitely will stay again.

I finished paying in advance with the app, but I said I couldn't confirm it, so I asked him to pay again, so he even confirmed the reservation number stored on his mobile phone and the contents of the payment, but he said he didn't know. After a long time, I didn't apologize for confirming that it was a trip.com app, but the room was also broken. It was replaced again soon. The room was clean and the facilities were good, but the condition was not good, so I put the temperature of the air conditioner up and fell asleep, but someone forced into the room in the middle of the night. The intruders were staff and they said they came to check because the room temperature was strange. But I know that the customer is in the room, but I was very embarrassed and scared because I broke in without any call or knock. The staff were friendly but there was no consideration for the guests at all. Hotel that I don't want to go again twice. It was less service than a 30,000 won room in Southeast Asia.

I used my points for this stay however the rates including dynamic points rate were low making this hotel value for money or points in my case. Being a Diamond elite member i was upgrade to a suite was not expected but appreciated. Friendly staff making me feel welcome and the free breakfast has variety as well as changing one dish every day i was there. Love a good mexican breakfast. Location was a little out of the centre hence the reason not 5 stars however the bus is a one min walk and they leave every 2 mins if not less. expect it to be busy at times. if you dont mind being a little bit out of the way its a nice hotel for the amount you pay
