We stayed for 4 days for a family vacation at Center Parcs Hochsauerland. This was not our first stay at a Center Parcs so we were not surprised to find that our holiday home (Comfort) only appeared superficially clean. With the tight schedule (departure by 10 a.m., another guest arriving again on the same day at 1 p.m.), this is partly understandable, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. I would like to see a significant improvement here. Otherwise you have to say that the complex was well maintained and clean. The playgrounds were also clean, well-kept, in good condition and our two children had a lot of fun there. The physical well-being is sufficiently taken care of, no culinary delights, but you can't and shouldn't expect that. For the first time we were able to use the breakfast delivery service, which went beyond various baked goods that we knew from other Center Parcs. You were provided with everything you need for breakfast. We would book that again. I can only report one of the paid activities: the diving taster course. In the end you have to say: a disaster! The instructor was very nice and took good care of the kids who seemed to be having fun but the equipment they were given was just broken. A breathing system that supplies you with air underwater must not be broken! Since I dive myself, I was able to help the poor diving instructor and we exchanged individual parts of the children's equipment until all the children had something they could dive with, but we also had to cannibalize the equipment of the diving instructor, who then was no longer fully available. At €50 per child, I have to say: very, very embarrassing.
