Such a good property, service was very convincing and more over the swimming pool and rooms were clean. Breakfast was okayish but nothing to be complained

This hotel had been located on the outskirts of Usilampatti town. Pros It’s a vast & spacious property Differnt kind of rooms are available. We had opted for 2 storey wooden room Availability of swimming pool Animals & birds have been grown at this property. Kids night enjoy this ambience Cons Basic buffet breakfast. Cleanliness can be improved There was a water problem over there. Had to wait for a while for free flow Overall this property can be thought for a short / weekend stay

Near and a good place. Town hall and meenakshi amman temple are in walkable distance. Good friendly staff.

I must say the tour and traveller run by Mr. Gopal ji at Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, Madurai is really awesome. He provided me full details of day wise iternity of Madurai and Rameshwaram's famous places with print out when we just arrived at Fortune Pandiyan hotel, Madurai on day 1. Mr. Gopal ji is a very nice person and soft spoken.he also shared me his peronal pandit details who is basically pujari inside the Maa Minakshi temple. Pujari worshipped for our family and he provided us the direct acess of Maa Darshan. Not only this, Mr. Gopal ji have very excellent team and his assigned driver Mr. Mahendran ji took us at every place and also worked like a guide. My family have fully enjoyed this religious trip of Madurai and Rameshwaram. The car was sedan type and fully comfortable and price is reasonable compared to market. Following are the points which I like/Dislike 1. Its not a hotel. Its a well built & maintained lodge. For me a Hotel is a place which has all the services like room service, In house kitchen, parking, multiple staff for service etc. 2. No inhouse kitchen, they have a restaurant next door where you can go and eat. they don't allow room service. 3. Car parking is 80-100 mtrs away totally separate from the hotel premise. You have take the security guard ***** with you to open the lock of the parking & move your car. This entire process of Parking is very very inconvenient. 4. No fridge inside the room. Rooms are neat & clean but have mosquitoes as the bathroom window is open and is exposed for the insects. 5. Only suitable for single business travellers who are not looking for any service. For a family, I do not recommend at all. 6. Location is at a major city junction hence it is full of traffic. 7. I booked this hotel because I was confused with the way these travels websites display the information under these hotel sections. Like they will say restaurant available but it will be adjoining restaurant and not hotel's. I can say my house has 5000sqft park but actually it will be a municipal park right next to my house. 8. The place has a very low staff and you dont get to watch hindi channels on TV. So, if your are in room get ready to be bored.
