This hostel is centrally located on Gran Via. It is very simple if you need a good bed with good ac and a basic room with great electric blinds. My only issue is the shower curtains,they are annoying when showering,maybe get heavy ones, and that will solve the issue. The receptionist is very attentive and cordial. The price is very reasonable for its location. The best cup of coffee is at the churro place 2 blocks away!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hostal Main Street for 4 nights in May. The location was very convenient. there is a metro station just down the block so we took the metro from the train station. You are near a bustling square with shops and restaurants but we were not bothered by street noise in the room. The room was clean and cute with a coffee station and a comfortable bed, The bath had a good shower and a bidet. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and someone was available 24 hours. When we lost a phone, the main clerk made calls to the Prada to check Lost and Found for us. The phone was never found but she was very kind and helpful!

Best hostal I have ever stayed. The twin room we stayed is the quietest in the building, zero noise, we needed that. The room is spacious and had every I was actively looking for with a great price. It is right in town, with all the amenities and shops around. Metro stop 1 minute away. Beds are confortable, there is air conditioning, a mini fridge, and the windows have electric blinds for black out. This is better than a hotel. Staff is so nice and helpful. I will be back 100%.

Hostel in a perfect location, correct room with a complete and very clean bathroom, very friendly staff, the building has an elevator, small, for two people, a negative fact is the night noises from the Gran Via, room with a balcony.

It's a great hotel in terms of location, right in the center of tourist Madrid, next to the metro (1 minute), the rooms are clean and comfortable and functional, you can organize your breakfast, the reception (rosa) is professional and friendly with advice for your stay (map, addresses, etc.). And finally the bedding (this is important) is of very good quality. Finally go there!

Very central hostel. Our room was very very small and we could hear a lot of noise from both the street and the rooms. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great if you are looking for a place to spend the night in Madrid that is affordable and in the center.

We were 3 couples on a leisure trip. We liked the 3 rooms. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. They sent us explanations of how to get there and were very attentive. It is very central. We would definitely repeat. Highly advisable.

Slept in the 2nd large and very clean room. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Excellent cleaning. Very courteous staff. Negative note is the noise coming from Gran Via and the tiny sink. Excellent location for visiting the center of Madrid.
