The Social Hub Madrid

The hotel is very well located, just a stone's throw from Plaza de España, right in the city center. The staff were very attentive, and the beds were very comfortable, even though the rooms weren't very bright. We had a great stay!

This hotel boasts a great location, just a stone's throw from the Royal Palace. There's also a fantastic Thai restaurant right downstairs. However, if you're driving, be warned: the parking lot is behind the hotel. Checking in first and then trying to park means a 1.5 km detour and a 15-minute traffic jam, which was a terrible experience. But that's not the hotel's fault; Madrid's traffic is just awful.

I loved the spaces, the rooms, the comfort, the service – everything was excellent.

Overall, the hotel's location is unbeatable 👍. It's about a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and you can even walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid, which is incredibly convenient for tourists. The front desk staff were very friendly and polite 😊, and the room itself was clean with no major issues. However, during my three-night stay, my towels were never replaced. It wouldn't have been a big deal if they just left them, but the most ridiculous thing was that I had hung a wet towel to dry, and the cleaning staff actually folded it back up and put it in its original spot. This caused the towel to develop a musty smell 🤢, which was really unpleasant. Additionally, the rubber seal on the shower door was loose and had come off, causing water to leak all over the bathroom floor when showering 💧. This made the entire floor wet, and the facility maintenance could definitely be improved. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to these details. After all, with such a great location, it would be perfect if the cleaning and maintenance were better 🙏.

The room wasn't bad when we arrived, but when we requested cleaning for just one day out of our three-day stay, they did absolutely nothing beyond making the bed and giving us two towels. They didn't even clean the toilet; it was all stained. Basically, no cleaning at all. The pool is super small, cold, and quite dirty. The room itself was actually pretty good! And they offer free laundry service.

Unfortunately, I couldn't cancel my booking, so only 4 stars. I'm not sure why it appeared in my suggestions to leave a review. It's probably a good place. It might have been 5 stars if I had actually stayed at this hotel.
