Ember Locke

Unreal stay!!!!!! Wow what value that offering was. These guys have freshly opened this hotel and to say it is stunning is an absolute understatement, they have not spared a dime with the architecture, finishes and interior decorations. Sublime. Please do my home. Now, let’s talk about the service. As someone who has spent 30 hours in transit, staying on their own, the warmth of the Locke people made me sad to leave. Enormous compliments and praise to Ola and Auzelina who made me feel like I was on a trip with my close gfs, these ladies were extremely helpful, accomodating and kind. They didn’t bat an eyelid at the rubbish that fell out of my mouth at 3am. In all my travels, these two have been the warmest, sweetest people I could have possibly met. I called them my guardian angels. Last but not least, the apartment itself was fully kitted out with a washer/dryer, fridge, cooktop, AC, easy to use TV and wifi, great water pressure, comfy beds, immaculately clean. Unreal. I work in high end real estate where 5 star service and expectation management is mandatory, the Ember locke outdoes any of its competition by a landslide, 10 fold. I hope I have an excuse to get back soon because I miss my 5 day old Locke family and home already ❤️
DoubleTree by Hilton London Kensington

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options. Would stay again and recommend to others. Only down points were told they didn’t offer bottles of water (even though my Hilton honors stated I get water), and also issue with heating/aircon in room and it was very cold, but they did supply electric heaters.
Ibis Styles London Gloucester Road

Good location, very close to Imperial College, in the middle of Gloucester Road and South Kensington subway station, it is more convenient to transfer to anywhere. The hotel faces the street and is more or less noisy at night. It is also a residential renovation. Although the facilities are not old (in the case of Britain), the house is a bit crowded. The self-service ibis is quite good value for money and the Crowne Plaza next to it doesn't feel much better than it.
Hilton London Olympia

While I did not have high expectations for this hotel given its price point and location, I anticipated basic comfort which. The majority of the room's amenities were outdated, yet still within an acceptable standard for me. However, the air conditioning system was disappointingly inadequate; it failed to produce heat and emitted only cold air. Despite the staff promptly providing an electric heater when alerted to this issue, the room remained uncomfortably cold. The most disconcerting part of my stay was the condition of the bedding. The filler in the duvet had clumped together, as evidenced by the attached photo, likely due to improper washing. This left me with little more than two thin sheets in zero-degree weather, with a non-functional heating system. To find some warmth, I resorted to wearing additional clothes and draping my down jacket over the duvet—a far cry from a comfortable night's sleep. I must commend the hotel staff, who were excellent throughout this ordeal. Their service was the only warm aspect of my stay.

Earls Court
We love this hotel so much, no regrets! 3mins walk to Earl's Court tube station. Very convenient to look for Halal eateries, by the stretch of main road. Both Veronica & Fawziah the Hotel Concierge staffs and svc crew at breakfast were all great. Breakfast buffet spread was just nice and the best was the 03 different choice of fresh fruit juice. The entire hotel has really nice fragrance, glad the standard room, has enough space to fit our 2huge luggage & 1 cabin size bag. Lastly, the bed mattress and pillows are comfortable, we had amazing holiday stay.

Earls Court
English breakfast buffet, large room size, twin room with a two-seater sofa. Estimated to bring children. Located in a residential area 250 meters away from Earl ’s Court subway station, the environment is quiet. There is a commercial street in front of the subway station, which is convenient for eating and drinking. 35 minutes to the airport by subway. The staff are enthusiastic. There may be a garden for parking.
