Family-friendly Hotels in Lijiang

Super love the ancient 古镇 feel of this hotel room, and its proximity and link through a back door to Lijiang Ancient Town. Service is excellent where the hotel staff delivered medicine and other amenities request where required. Breakfast is excellent too. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lijiang!

Beautiful hotel with excellent scenery of jade dragon snow mountain, within walking distance of 1+km to Shuhe Old Town. Room a little old, but overall stay is pleasant!

The resort is nicely built and designed. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The breakfast was great wide range of foods, Chinese and western. Fruits were aplenty, complimentary bottled waters are replenished daily. Beds were comfortable but pillows were too soft to my liking. The room itself is a bit dated, front door is not properly aligned and closing it need to push harder. The cleaning person were not thorough enough, while the black marbled floor is clean, the carpet could not be said so as there were stains and foods stuff sticking to the carpet from previous customers.

Went to Lijiang with my elderly parents. Selected this hotel based on its location, which is outside of the ancient city, but near enough to walk to. There is no need to lug suitcases on cobblestone road and there is a lift to every floor so it was elder-friendly. It is also not far from Heilongtan. We stayed here for 3 nights. Got complimentary room upgrade. Staff are friendly and helpful, all the way from from the main reception, to housekeepers, to cafe, to breakfast crew. When tired from walking around town, mahjong was also available. Cannot remember everyone by name, but would like to thank the whole team, 小娟，安娜 for a wonderful stay.

The room was far smaller than expected with a very petite though functional bathroom (without any natural light). The two single beds were small and difficult to sleep in. The air conditioning was old and quite poor. It was difficult to bring the temperature down at night. There was one tiny wardrobe that could not hold much clothing at all. There was no tea, coffee or other benefits of an alleged 5 star hotel. The following day, the cleaners (who were fantastic and very nice) brought us a few biscuits and a plate with a few fruit items on it. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The breakfast had a good selection of possible dishes though the staff did not refill regularly so many items became unavailable during breakfast. The dishes were very Chinese orientated, which was not a problem given that we were the only foreigners in the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and supportive.

Wonderful preparation by the manager of Duofu resort , it was conveniently located at ancient town to the right and the left main entrance faces the Main Street. It was lovely decoration and upgrade by the kind manager in charge. Lovely rose and nice tea set with little gift of note and mask provided for his care and attention. However the room was smelly a little fishy smell but it was said it was because of rainy season in Lijang. So we had to get our own lemon spray to cleanse the room smell or else it was a mix of heavy smoking cigarettes and fishy smelly it was pure horrible. Breakfast was yummy too well to the palate of ours as it’s light season. The food in Lijang was heavily seasoned. Overall we are happy with our stay here. Beautifully declarer at every corner with great service 🥰

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Not only does it provide airport pick-up and drop-off, but other services are more attentive than five-star hotels. The price is 500, but the quality is 2K The housekeeper Xiaohe was waiting for us at the airport early, and introduced us to various interesting attractions and food in Lijiang along the way The first thing to do after checking in was to make us a cup of authentic white tea to sweep away our fatigue The owner of the B&B must be a collector, with all kinds of porcelain, wood carvings, etc. Entering the B&B is like entering a Jiangnan garden, with small bridges and flowing water The tea room on the second floor has a perfect view. You can sit there all day while drinking latte and looking at the scenery After checking out the next day, Xiaohe directly sent us to other hotels at the foot of the snow-capped mountains Next time if you come to Lijiang, you must choose his B&B!

Writing to thank the fabulous team in Hotel Indigo for taking such good care of us during our two day stay. Service attitude, service mentality, the delivery was all on point. Special thanks to Mr Wayne Wang for going to extra mile with service recovery when I was unable to secure a spa slot and had to forgo the session. He delivered fruits and gifts to my room and made sure I had a wonderful time at dinner. When I checked out the next day, the front desk from another shift was aware of what happened the previous night and took special care to check in with me and apologise. Also, intercontinental which was connected to the hotel had the best Chinese restaurant in Yunnan so far. 398Yuan for a 8 course and michelin star standard meal. We are very impressed. Will recommend others and also come back to stay again.

The hotel is next to Lijiang Old Town, within a 10-minute walk. It receives tour groups from all over the country and also holds some meetings. Our individual travelers had a good experience staying here. The hotel will send a car to pick them up at the airport and station, and can also provide tour charter tickets. The standard room environment is OK and relatively clean. The bathroom also has a dry and wet separation. Outside the window is a garden courtyard of the hotel, which is quite unique. There is not much noise at night. Occasionally, other guests in the corridor talk loudly, and the soundproofing is not good. The service staff are very good. The overall feeling is good

The butler provided excellent service, reaching out the night before to confirm check-in details and helping with luggage upon arrival. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, highly recommended to try.
