Kurashiki Station Hotel Reviews

The hotel is actually quite far from Kurashiki Station; the hotel facilities are relatively old, and the rooms are clean. From a cost-effectiveness perspective, it can only be said to be average.

It is very close to Kurashiki Station. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Kurashiki Bikan. I think the convenient transportation is the hotel's biggest selling point. Although the room is a bit old, it is very clean, and the reception staff is kind and courteous. Mineral water is provided in the room, and you can bring empty bottles to the water dispenser in the lobby on the fifth floor to fill it! Ice cubes and coin machines are provided on the sixth floor. 7th and 9th floor smoking rooms

It is about a 5-8 minute walk from Kurashiki Station. The other exit of the station is at Mitsui Shopping Center where you can go shopping🛍️. There is a large supermarket to buy souvenirs. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to beautiful scenic spots. There are also many restaurants around the hotel with reasonable prices.

We arrived around 10pm so it was dark, but my first impression was that it had a bit of a "chicken hostel" (a hostel where you can bring your own food) vibe. The lobby and rooms had low ceilings and it wasn't a particularly clean hotel. However, the people staying at the hotel were not the types mentioned above, the Japanese breakfast was very delicious and looking at the other guests, most of whom were businessmen, which was reassuring. The location was excellent, with the station a 7-9 minute walk away and Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter only a 14-15 minute walk away, even though it was early in the morning.

It's in front of the station and on the main street, so there are lots of restaurants and bars, which was helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you.

The noise from the next room and the voices talking and laughing coming from the hallway were so loud they echoed all over the place. It was impossible to sleep like that.

The location near the station was great. The bathroom looked clean, but had a peculiar smell that was a bit strong.

Great location between the station and Bikan Historical Quarter It's good to have a humidifier in the room because it's dry.
