Hotels near Urban and Rural Exchange Center Ochanosato in Kagoshima

It is a business hotel located in the downtown Astronomical Museum of South Kyushu, but I was able to sleep as rare as I could, saying that I only called myself ”Rem” and slept until I was woken up by an alarm clock. The streetcars and buses were running on the road just in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast for the night, so I had it at the Tully's in the building, but it was quite well organized and fulfilling. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

Highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Kagoshima for a short time! The location being inside the JR Station is very convenient, and the hotel was clean. Had a lot of free amenities, like some epsom salt bath! The room itself is a typical small room like you see everywhere in Japan. Would definitely recommend if you visit Kagoshima!

This is a new hotel with bunk beds which can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The beds were spacious and a good size. We stayed in the executive bunk family room which can accommodate 6 persons. It may be a bit tight for 6 persons but just right for our family of 4. There is full size washing machine cum dryer in the room which is very useful for washing our clothes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast with a good spread but as there is no dining area, you need to pack your breakfast into bento boxes and eat them in your room. But we saw a sign which says breakfast will be separately charged from Jan 2024 onwards. Now, breakfast is complimentary and included in the room rate. The hotel also does not have car park but there is more then sufficient coin parking right next door which cost 600 yen from 2000 to 800. The location is quite central and a short 5-10 min drive to Tenmonkan. There is also a good ramen restaurant across the road from the hotel, Rai Rai Tei which is worth trying. Just a tip, we got a much better room rate on Rakuten than the usual Agoda, *********** sites.

This hotel is very new, the room and lobby environment have nothing to say, the bed is very comfortable. However, the room we booked was arranged on the first floor closest to the front desk. Fortunately, the room was soundproofed and there was no noise impact. It should be noted that the link to this room I took on Trip.com will be arranged on the first floor. If you want a higher floor, please choose a sea view room (you can book in the spg app and you can score points). Behind the wall facing the hotel is the sea, but I didn't see it on the first floor. In addition, the hotel does not have a restaurant. The breakfast option of 200 yuan per person on Trip.com is actually a lunch box. You have to go to the front desk to get the room in the morning. We also argued with the front desk for this. If you have a friend who mind, you can decide whether to do it yourself, but the uncle at the front desk said that this lunch box was very delicious, I didn't try it, because the whole family was at the entrance of the hotel and it was cheap and convenient to buy food. There is not much to eat around, there is a tea restaurant across the road, it is a family restaurant, don't go too late for dinner, otherwise there is nothing. Basically that's it.

The Shiroyama Hotel in Kagoshima is an old five-star hotel founded in 1963. The current Emperor and Empress of Japan have stayed here. All hotel staff are friendly and well-trained. The facilities inside the hotel are very complete and there are many restaurants, including Japanese restaurants and Western restaurants. I personally recommend the semi-buffet lunch at The Lounge Casablanca on the 4th floor. There are a variety of appetizers and soups to choose from. For the final dessert, the waiter will push a cart to you and ask you what you want. The hotel has its own bakery and dessert shop, and its desserts also have a counter in Kagoshima JR Station. The hotel's large bathhouse has an open-air hot spring. Sitting in the hot spring, you can overlook Sakurajima in the distance. The most important thing is that this hotel is not expensive! If I go to Kagoshima next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

I stayed 2 nights at thesunflex. The location is excellent with decent sized rooms and our deal included breakfast You can choose from 3 types. You will have to pay for parking i believe tobe 900 yen.not far from the hotel is an excellent bakery called sumomo whichhas tasty products which are 110 to 160 yen so fantastic prices. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Easy walk to the sakurajima ferry and many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Since the parking lot is a little far away, I think that if you have luggage, you really need a parking lot.
