Hotels near Mitsuyama Park in Kagoshima

It is a business hotel located in the downtown Astronomical Museum of South Kyushu, but I was able to sleep as rare as I could, saying that I only called myself ”Rem” and slept until I was woken up by an alarm clock. The streetcars and buses were running on the road just in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast for the night, so I had it at the Tully's in the building, but it was quite well organized and fulfilling. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

The location is very convenient. You can reach Kagoshima Chuo Station directly from the lobby. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops on the same floor. It is also very convenient to go to nearby large shopping malls. The hotel staff were friendly. We stored our luggage in advance and checked in the next day; on the day of check-in, our luggage had already been delivered to the hotel room early in the morning. The service was great. Will choose JR Kyushu Hotel next time

Stayed 2 nights in end Jan 2023. Hotel is located directly across the Kagoshima Chuo Station which is convenient if you need to take the train early morning, or explore the other area, as the bus and tram line is nearby as well.  You can access the hotel via the round link from the station on the 2nd floor and cross a road at the end of the link or via the underground basement beside the shopping mall next to the station on level 1, completely sheltered. There is a nice food place at the basement of the hotel and a mart just beside the hotel on level 1. The reception is on the 7th floor where you can get toiletries like cleansing gel,  razor, comb, cotton bud, etc. Check in was fast and simple, though check in time is fixed at 3 pm.  Staff were friendly. Hotel is clean and well maintained.  Rooms were reasonably big for hotels in Japan. Bathroom have separate shower and tub area.  Good view of the ferries wheel across my room.  Bed was comfy, sleeping robe provided. Safe deposit box not working though. Wifi is reasonably good.  Would consider staying again if coming to this area.

My wife and I really loved the Onsen with a view of Sakurajima as published. Onsen cleanliness was good too. Buffet breakfast was so complete with both Japanese and western style. Free shuttle is quite frequent although still took some time to get to town nonetheless. But overall we loved our stay!

Used on April 10, 2023. The place is in front of the tram stop (tram) Astronomical Museum, which is also a downtown area of Kagoshima, and it can be said that it is a landmark because it is before the bus stops. Certainly there was a shopping mall on the 1st floor, and it felt like a recent hotel, and the inside of the building was beautiful with the impression that it was renovated or newly built. The structure is the front desk on the 7th floor and the guest rooms on the 8th to 14th floors. The 15th floor is a restaurant and breakfast is here, and on a sunny day, you can see Sakurajima, and I think there is no complaint about the local dishes like Kagoshima. However, the deduction point was the following points ● There is no parking lot at the hotel. Since the parking lot is a little far away, I think that if you have luggage, you really need a parking lot. It can't be helped in the structure anymore, but I got the impression that it would be a little painful to carry heavy luggage when I came by car. ● If the affiliated parking lot is a little far away, it's fine when checking out (if it's not rainy), there's no problem, but I got the impression that it would be a little hard if it was raining. ● The content of the restaurant in the morning is fine, but I think there are many guests who come for the specialty ”chicken rice”. However, the impression that the frequency of the ingredient replenishment is slow because there is only soup stock and rice left insufficient replenishment. I understand the feeling of cherishing ingredients, but I have a little doubt ● Acoustic problem in the corridor It happened that it was around 23:00 pm. When I went to smoke on the front floor, I was walking down the corridor from another room, but I heard the sound inside, but I closed my mouth a little. I don't know if there is a location pattern, but it's the sound of so-called adult play, but I felt that I wanted you to do a little more soundproofing. I wrote color 々, but the basic room and restaurant are beautiful and I think it is a hotel of a good level in Kagoshima. Sure, Shiroyama and Sun Royal are famous in Kagoshima, but considering the convenience and price, I hope it will be a good hotel in the future.

I stayed 2 nights at thesunflex. The location is excellent with decent sized rooms and our deal included breakfast You can choose from 3 types. You will have to pay for parking i believe tobe 900 yen.not far from the hotel is an excellent bakery called sumomo whichhas tasty products which are 110 to 160 yen so fantastic prices. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Easy walk to the sakurajima ferry and many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is very new, the room and lobby environment have nothing to say, the bed is very comfortable. However, the room we booked was arranged on the first floor closest to the front desk. Fortunately, the room was soundproofed and there was no noise impact. It should be noted that the link to this room I took on Trip.com will be arranged on the first floor. If you want a higher floor, please choose a sea view room (you can book in the spg app and you can score points). Behind the wall facing the hotel is the sea, but I didn't see it on the first floor. In addition, the hotel does not have a restaurant. The breakfast option of 200 yuan per person on Trip.com is actually a lunch box. You have to go to the front desk to get the room in the morning. We also argued with the front desk for this. If you have a friend who mind, you can decide whether to do it yourself, but the uncle at the front desk said that this lunch box was very delicious, I didn't try it, because the whole family was at the entrance of the hotel and it was cheap and convenient to buy food. There is not much to eat around, there is a tea restaurant across the road, it is a family restaurant, don't go too late for dinner, otherwise there is nothing. Basically that's it.

The public bath uses Fine Ten Water, and those with sensitive skin will feel the effects immediately. I also found Refa's shower head to be very comfortable to use, probably because the water pressure was higher than what I use at home. Use the hair dryer and your styling will look better than usual. Also, the room was equipped with a clothes deodorizer, and I was curious about this home appliance, so I was glad I was able to try it out. People who go to yakiniku etc. for dinner will probably find it very popular. The rooms are comfortable, but the public bath is recommended.

Hotels in Japan are relatively luxurious and have ample space. If you go to the hot springs in the morning, you can even see the unparalleled sea view of Sakurajima. It is well worth the price. The space in the room is also very sufficient, and the facilities and supplies are complete. However, the only thing I can be picky about is The location of the hotel is very inconvenient. If you miss the bus to the city, it will be very inconvenient to travel between the hotel and the city.
