It is a business hotel located in the downtown Astronomical Museum of South Kyushu, but I was able to sleep as rare as I could, saying that I only called myself ”Rem” and slept until I was woken up by an alarm clock. The streetcars and buses were running on the road just in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast for the night, so I had it at the Tully's in the building, but it was quite well organized and fulfilling. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

Highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Kagoshima for a short time! The location being inside the JR Station is very convenient, and the hotel was clean. Had a lot of free amenities, like some epsom salt bath! The room itself is a typical small room like you see everywhere in Japan. Would definitely recommend if you visit Kagoshima!

Maybe I checked in late. It was after 7pm and the room was full, so the room I was assigned was not very good. There was a musty smell in the first room I entered. For self-driving travel, the location of this hotel is very good and it is very convenient to go to any Kagoshima attractions. However, please note that the parking lot is closed from 0:00-07:00 every night, and the hotel will still arrange for room cleaning every day. There is a chapel where weddings can be held. I stayed 2 nights at thesunflex. The location is excellent with decent sized rooms and our deal included breakfast You can choose from 3 types. You will have to pay for parking i believe tobe 900 yen.not far from the hotel is an excellent bakery called sumomo whichhas tasty products which are 110 to 160 yen so fantastic prices. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Easy walk to the sakurajima ferry and many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is very new, the room and lobby environment have nothing to say, the bed is very comfortable. However, the room we booked was arranged on the first floor closest to the front desk. Fortunately, the room was soundproofed and there was no noise impact. It should be noted that the link to this room I took on Trip.com will be arranged on the first floor. If you want a higher floor, please choose a sea view room (you can book in the spg app and you can score points). Behind the wall facing the hotel is the sea, but I didn't see it on the first floor. In addition, the hotel does not have a restaurant. The breakfast option of 200 yuan per person on Trip.com is actually a lunch box. You have to go to the front desk to get the room in the morning. The 15th floor is a restaurant and breakfast is here, and on a sunny day, you can see Sakurajima, and I think there is no complaint about the local dishes like Kagoshima. However, the deduction point was the following points ● There is no parking lot at the hotel. Since the parking lot is a little far away, I think that if you have luggage, you really need a parking lot. It can't be helped in the structure anymore, but I got the impression that it would be a little painful to carry heavy luggage when I came by car. ● If the affiliated parking lot is a little far away, it's fine when checking out (if it's not rainy), there's no problem, but I got the impression that it would be a little hard if it was raining. ● The content of the restaurant in the morning is fine, but I think there are many guests who come for the specialty ”chicken rice”. A 5-minute walk from the hotel entrance is the Shiroyama Observation Deck where you can overlook Sakurajima. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Kagoshima JR Station, which runs every half hour. All hotel staff are friendly and well-trained. The facilities inside the hotel are very complete and there are many restaurants, including Japanese restaurants and Western restaurants. I personally recommend the semi-buffet lunch at The Lounge Casablanca on the 4th floor. There are a variety of appetizers and soups to choose from. For the final dessert, the waiter will push a cart to you and ask you what you want. The hotel has its own bakery and dessert shop, and its desserts also have a counter in Kagoshima JR Station. The hotel's large bathhouse has an open-air hot spring. Sitting in the hot spring, you can overlook Sakurajima in the distance. The most important thing is that this hotel is not expensive! If I go to Kagoshima next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
