The guest room floor is from the 6th floor to the 18th floor, and the room is located on the top floor with the club lounge ❤️ The guest room is located on the top floor, and Sakurajima can be seen in front of you from the large window of the room 🌈 Wow !!! ♡ I can feel Sakurajima so close. The scenery was so beautiful that I left the roll screen half open and went to bed. I was impressed by the sunrise that I happened to see around 5:30 in the morning ☆ From the moment I entered the lobby on the 1st floor, I was impressed with the luxury atmosphere ♡ I was able to spend a relaxing time watching the night view of Kagoshima in my room 🎀 In the room There is a bathrobe and a nice time ❤️ On the 5th floor, there is a private hot spring ♨️ ”Warming hot water” that can only be used by guests and guests of the spa [Lymph Goddess]. The Shiroyama Hotel in Kagoshima is an old five-star hotel founded in 1963. The current Emperor and Empress of Japan have stayed here. It may not be an exaggeration to say that this hotel is the best hotel in Kagoshima. The address of this hotel is located on the top of Shiroyama, the site of the Southwest War. A 5-minute walk from the hotel entrance is the Shiroyama Observation Deck where you can overlook Sakurajima. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Kagoshima JR Station, which runs every half hour. All hotel staff are friendly and well-trained. The facilities inside the hotel are very complete and there are many restaurants, including Japanese restaurants and Western restaurants. I personally recommend the semi-buffet lunch at The Lounge Casablanca on the 4th floor. There are a variety of appetizers and soups to choose from. For the final dessert, the waiter will push a cart to you and ask you what you want. The hotel has its own bakery and dessert shop, and its desserts also have a counter in Kagoshima JR Station. The hotel's large bathhouse has an open-air hot spring. Sitting in the hot spring, you can overlook Sakurajima in the distance. The most important thing is that this hotel is not expensive! If I go to Kagoshima next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

I am currently staying here on my way to Yaku Island. After being here for awhile, I am already used to the quality of Japanese service and this place measures up to those standards. Though a bit long in the tooth, my small single room was clean, with wifi, frig, telebi, and quiet. The onsen was small but old style which I like and the water was hot enough and the facility clean. Towels were provided also. It was on the top level which was nice. The front desk folks were efficient and spoke adequate English to a non-Japanese speaking Japanese American. I asked for a non-smoking room when I booked and it was provided. It overlooks a beautiful Shinto shrine and a nice park is across the street. It is close to the Tenmonkan area with lots of restaurants and convenience stores. Pleasantly surprised and happy this worked out.

This is a new hotel with bunk beds which can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The beds were spacious and a good size. We stayed in the executive bunk family room which can accommodate 6 persons. It may be a bit tight for 6 persons but just right for our family of 4. There is full size washing machine cum dryer in the room which is very useful for washing our clothes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast with a good spread but as there is no dining area, you need to pack your breakfast into bento boxes and eat them in your room. But we saw a sign which says breakfast will be separately charged from Jan 2024 onwards. Now, breakfast is complimentary and included in the room rate. The hotel also does not have car park but there is more then sufficient coin parking right next door which cost 600 yen from 2000 to 800. The location is quite central and a short 5-10 min drive to Tenmonkan. There is also a good ramen restaurant across the road from the hotel, Rai Rai Tei which is worth trying. Just a tip, we got a much better room rate on Rakuten than the usual Agoda, *********** sites.

It is almost the same as other business hotels, and the rooms and bathrooms are basically clean, but the bathrooms are especially small, and some of the facilities are outdated. You can be served breakfast in the lobby on the first floor, depending on your accommodation plan. There seems to be enough tables and chairs, but due to the large number of rooms, especially on holidays when the rooms are almost full, it may be too crowded to eat breakfast. However, there are cafes and convenience stores around the hotel that open early in the morning, so you won't have any trouble finding food. The hotel can be used as a good base for sightseeing in Kagoshima.

Maybe I checked in late. It was after 7pm and the room was full, so the room I was assigned was not very good. There was a musty smell in the first room I entered. After I told the front desk, I changed to a second room with a bigger musty smell. But my friend is very nice. He changed with me 😂 But his room was not very clean and there were girls' hair on the wash basin and shower head. . . . But the hot spring is good, the internal environment is ok, and there are ice cream snacks

The public bath uses Fine Ten Water, and those with sensitive skin will feel the effects immediately. I also found Refa's shower head to be very comfortable to use, probably because the water pressure was higher than what I use at home. Use the hair dryer and your styling will look better than usual. Also, the room was equipped with a clothes deodorizer, and I was curious about this home appliance, so I was glad I was able to try it out. People who go to yakiniku etc. for dinner will probably find it very popular. The rooms are comfortable, but the public bath is recommended.
