Hotels near Dabaraku Monument, Kagoshima

Hotel is quite a distance from the Kagoshima station. As there were 4 adults, we decided to cab upon arrival. With 4 luggage’s it was abit challenging, 2L and 2M luggage sizes. Thankfully our cab driver allowed one of us to hold the lighter luggage in our lap and took us all to the hotel. Leaving we encountered a very rude taxi driver outside the hotel. He bullied us and took one luggage and put into his trunk. Signalled another cab to come pick the rest of us and literally threw our second luggage to the other cab. Shocked us. He insisted only 2 passengers and one luggage and demanded ¥1,000 fare not meter. Very very bad experience with Japanese taxi driver outside Kagoshima Washington hotel. Hotel wise staff tried very hard to converse in English and very helpful as we arrived on New Year’s Eve. Room was small and clean.

The hotel is a short distance from the Shinkansen station,( trolley stop N11). Take the trolley to N8 . The breakfast was very good and the burgers are great for lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Waki, who was a great help for me applying for a visa.

It locates near the bus terminal and Kagoshima Chuo Station, there is a Lawson at G/F. Airport bus can stop at the entrance of the hotel. It is very convenient for travelers. The room is cozy but not very spacious, though it is a good choice for short stay for several nights.

100% convenient. You can reached via shinkasen on the last train and not worry about to catch the last bus or walk on quiet road to hotel. The hotel entrance is the same level on the exit JR platform. From the photo of entrance and exit of family mart , left is the hotel right is the JR. Less than 5 minutes from hotel check in counter to JR. Room is cleaned. I love the availability of 3 choices of bath salt. Self service.. just scoop the number of salt you want. Room is quiet and no sojnd from the JR or road. Only the breakfast is not muslim friendly. The room is not small. Just nice. Happy to stay and strongly recommend.

The location was very satisfactory, the front desk service was excellent, and I could understand why there are so many guests. There were no particular problems inside the room, but there was nothing particularly good about it, and unfortunately there was nothing outstanding about this hotel that would make me want to stay here again. There were no problems with the breakfast, but the variety of bread was disappointingly small compared to the side dishes.

Hotel is a bit far from train station but they do provide free shuttle bus service. The hot springs bath is located on the top floor with good view of the volcano mountain. You can enjoy the views while taking the bath. There are also many shopping and entertainment complexes close by.

The hotel is very good, clean and hygienic. Opposite the hotel is 711 and Lawson, and there is a freshly made bento. The hotel breakfast and lunch are very good! There is a bus terminal in Kamoike Port 300 meters away, and there are many taxis (the hotel can help call, and the taxi to the city center is 2200 yen). The balcony can watch the sunrise and sunset of Sakurajima. There were 2 earthquakes, and the table lamp shook violently. I looked at the 6th magnitude. By the way, according to my husband, it is wise to refrain from using the men's open-air bath during bright hours. For the dishes, I asked for a black pork shabu-shabu with a cup of Izo Mori. We had a relaxing meal in a corner space that can be used by 8 adults in the digging ceremony. The content is so rich that I can't eat it, and I'm very satisfied with the amount of main pork that I think there will be 2 ～ 3 servings in Tokyo. The next morning's Japanese food was not a buffet, so I was able to relax and relax at the set, and I was able to take out coffee on my way home.
