Good: great hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms with nice views, great rooftop and pool, easy check in, delicious breakfast Bad: although saying to use towels more than one day for sustainability, they were exchanged everyday. Electric problems led to switching on the tv in middle of every night. They weren't able to fix that problem.

This hotel is next level! Stylish, comfortable, efficient. Yet incredibly warm, hospitable and genuinely welcoming. The suite (3004) was a marvel of design and comfort. Luxurious Le Labo bath products, smart toilet, the most comfortable bedding, overlooking the skyline of Jakarta. You will not want to leave your room. Except you must because what awaits you every morning is the best breakfast in the world! Danang the pastry chef makes the best egg benedict and French toast. You will be spoilt for choice in the dining room. But best of all, it's the staff of the Park Hyatt. They are just wonderful! They could not do enough for us.

I visited Mercure Sabang with my 4 years old and my mother of 84 years old. Both of them were very happy, my son loved the kids activity on Sunday morning, my mother enjoyed the breakfast and become gourmand (at home she doesn't eat much anymore). It was maybe a combination of good food, perfect lighting and friendly ambiance in the resto. Me and my son love the pool, it was in the perfect depth (1.3m), not too deep but not too shallow either. The room was spacious, we took the type of privilege room, the bed and pillows was super comforting, and everything was so clean. One advise, if you are a non smoker, request non-smoking room and floor immediately, We checked in a bit late so the 1st night I need to chose between having a king size bed in a smoking floor/room or twin bed in the non-smoking one. I was then chose the twin bed and move to other room with king size bed in non smoking floor, because the smell of cigarettes in the smoking room-floor was so strong. It is a good thing for the smokers I think, because not many hotels have a smoking room nowadays. So overall i would say that Mercure Sabang is 10/10. Will surely revisit.

This hotel is situated in the heart of the city center hence the traffic is extremely heavy and busy, going to places are can be extremely difficult and time consuming. The location isn't good at all. You need more time allowance to get to the airport consider the heavy traffic. There are slums everywhere, behind the hotel and dirty food stalls nearby. These slums should be removed from the vicinity. Beggars and homeless people are everywhere even outside McDonald's nearby. There are McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks and indo Cafe nearby. Brsides, we are very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Our bedsheets are stained with footsteps and dirty stains. Cockcroaches are all over the toilet seat, crawling all over my legs while we were seated. It's so gross. I hope this hotel can improve its cleanliness. See the photos and you can decide yourself whether it's gross or not.

An unique artsy hotel in central jakarta, the room is not too big but comfortable, all the staff were friendly and nice especially pak talim and the receptionist mbak amy she’s really helpful and well inform, i prefer stayed in corner room and she help me with that and get the room with nice window view, but make sure to call them first to get nice view since they always full booked . It was an amazing and wonderful experiencing staying in this hotel. When I arrived in Jakarta from Malaysia on 4th May, the hotel frontliners greeted us warmly. What I really enjoy was their food and prices are super reasonable. I dont know how to describe, but the food was super delicious. I really hope the hotel can maintain it. If anyone want to travel to Jakarta, I highly recommend to enjoy this stay. everything is good, just a bit mosquitoes around the lobby, this can be done. I will visit this hotel again.
