Casa Ritual

The hotel is very quiet and makes you feel at home. The staff is very kind and pleasant. Always wearing face masks and keeping a safe distance The breakfast is tasty, we appreciated the fruit and the waffles wish they had some coffee or tea also in the evening. The pool area is lovely just wish the water of the pool was bit warmer. The location is very convenient in a beautiful neighbourhood with plenty of amenities within walking distance a church and very close to the airport We will gladly come back in the future. Ohh my only complaint is that they didn’t have more soap we used the one they gave us when we arrived and the they didn’t have anymore in the hotel 🥴
Vamar Vallarta Marina & Beach Resort

This was our second visit to Vamar. Our main reason for returning to Vamar was price. On our previous visit we had a room with a balcony and while we enjoyed the balcony we found the room to be very dark with areas we considered to be dead spaces. Fast forward to this trip. Vamar fit the bill for a relatively economical priced trip, meaning it had to be reasonable in price to eat out most meals and provide a comfortable clean place to sleep. Our room was clean and while lacking in balcony space was bright and quiet. We purchased a cooler from Kiosko along with ice and boom we had a refrigerator. We did enjoy one lunch beachside and found the waitstaff attentive. On the Marina side we enjoyed a few late lunches and again found all the waitstaff to be very attentive and accommodating. We enjoy a glass or two or three of white wine and we never found our glasses to be empty for long. We appreciated again the availability of self service coffee at the Lobby Bar and the baked goods also provided. We enjoyed our ”happy hours” and while seating was not always available in the bar area, we managed to find seating not too far away. Puerto Vallarta in general has so many great restaurants and the Marina is no exception. If you find it in your budget to eat off property and are looking for a smaller hotel than give Vamar a try.
Flamingo Vallarta Hotel & Marina

My Visa was Charged 2 - two days prior to arrival. No relief, reconciliation, explanation as to charges both on my visa and in person. Treated by Reception Manager Sandra with total disregard and demeaning, demoralizing attitude. Still do not have a proper accounting of what each of the two rooms cost per day. Room request for disabled guest in my party ignored and we were placed in a room the furthest away from elevator. Within minutes of arrival in room the toilet bowel actually came right off. Had to leave room for several hours to affect repair. Which subsequently was just caulking and toilet was always wobbling. Shower leaked all over floor into the sink area. Bedding - blanket shredded Floor grout filthy Towels like sandpaper Pull out sofa broken - metal sticking out and filthy All inclusive food was absolutely disgusting. Repeat food daily. Repurposed food, ie; chicken nuggets turned into sweet and sour chicken. Pancakes like frisbee disks. No salad dressings. No vinegar. Restaurant was supposed to be ready/open at 7am at least for coffee. It was usually not ready until at least 7:15. The bellman actually took items left for maid for his wife he said. We had stayed here before and were so shocked and sad at the total downturn of the services and food. Let alone the room. Very, very disappointing all inclusive.
One Puerto Vallarta Aeropuerto

Stayed here for one night due to a flight change (we came a day earlier than planned) booked on Expedia for ) $54! Bfast was included so that was a plus! No complaints. The room was clean, hot when we first came in but it got cold fast ( the a.c is 💯) they had two small water bottles for us ( 🙌) and the water pressure was great! The shower has your standard shampoo, conditioner and bathroom had soap, and other personal care stuff. Overall if I ever find myself in need on a last minute stay near the Vallarta airport I would definitely come back! I do recommend booking through Expedia or online rather than just showing up and getting a room because that would be a lot more expensive! Also you can definitely walk from the airport!! Do NOT get a taxi! We did and it was a WASTE of money! Room was small but for the price it was heavenly lol. Also sorry for the bad pics I only recorded a video so I had to screenshot
Casa Velas Adults Only All Inclusive

My husband and I spent 9/13 nights of our honeymoon as Casa Velas. We chose this hotel because of its great reviews, and it was one of only a few adults only ‘highly rated’ hotels. We had a wonderful time, which, in most didn’t disappoint. Pros The location of this hotel is near the marina, you can walk there within 5 to 10 minutes. The area is very safe, it feels very secure and everyone in and around the hotel was very very very friendly. The staff are by far this hotels biggest and best asset. So friendly, accommodating (within what they can do). Ramon and Ulrise worked non stop all day. The rooms are beautiful and are set within ground surrounded by lush trees, flowers and many iguana’s The cocktails were amazing and are exceptional value under the all inclusive, they would make almost anything, even if this wasn’t on the main menu The pool, reception, entrance, gardens and restaurants are immaculate and are constantly being cleaned and tidied. Also some friendly coy carp and turtles (which you can feed) Room for improvement The menu options are limiting, especially if you are staying longer than 4 days. Whilst the food was delicious, we have had some even more amazing food outside of the resort, a more diverse menu would be great for those staying a little longer. Before you travel be sure to check whether there are any events or weddings on during your stay, this was the largest downside by far. When guests arrived for the wedding/event that lasted about five days, our experience was negatively impacted by having to have buffet options for food… the calm, peaceful ambience was also affected. It very much felt like as soon as the wedding parties arrived, other guests were left to experience someone else’s holiday/vacation. Tipping Maybe it is because we are Europeans, and expected tipping isn’t something that we are used to… but considering this is a high end hotel that included tips, it felt strange to then we having to sign for drinks and food and tipping. Not saying that the staff do not deserve to be rewarded for their hard work, this isn’t in question at all, but it did feel a bit off. Whilst we would 100% recommend this hotel to any friends or family staying. We would make the recommendation of a shorter stay as the menu got very repetitive and there’s so many amazing things to see in at around Puerto Vallarta. Value for money 8/10
Comfort Inn Marina Golf Vallarta

This hotel is perfect for several reasons. First, it’s an easy 15 minute walk from the airport. Next, it’s inexpensive yet quite comfortable. All staff is courteous and helpful and I loved the noon checkout since my plane didn’t leave until the late afternoon. And while the continental breakfast is simple, I was quite satisfied with the fresh fruit bowl, granola, yogurt and coffee. Besides, there’s a Starbucks at the entrance to the Neptune Mall by the Vallarta Marina - just a ten minute walk. Lastly, the pool is one of the better ones for a hotel of is class. While I would look elsewhere for spending a week’s vacation, for a night or two, it won’t let you down.
