Rixos Pera Istanbul

Ideally located as a base to explore inner Istanul. We walked to most of the historical locations. The staff at the hotel were attentive and always on hand. Special mention to the Head Concierge Nuri Bilge. He quickly worked out what we could see by walking and drew a perfect map of all the locations to visit! Nuri also organised a sunset luxury boat trip for us, which was reasonably priced given the quality of service. Our thanks to him. The restaurants at the hotel are excellent, (though a little pricy) if you don't want to take a chance on the cheaper restaurants. Istanbul was not what we expected and so was a pleasure to explore for the 6 days we were there.

Very comfortable living environment, and basically no one disturbs, very close to many attractions, are walking past, eating is also very convenient. If you want to cook, there are cooking tools inside, but the driver has to buy oil and salt. Basically everything can be bought at the nearby Sok supermarket. Great value for money!

Good place, easy to find, close to many places to eat and shop. Love the sofa and coffee table in my room. The coffee table even turns into a computer desk, good idea for digital nomad like me. Good eater pressure in the shower head.

Good hotel service, as for a 5-star hotel. The location is very good in the center of the city, & next to MRT (METRO). The lobby design is modern and gorgeous. But the room is not yet removated. Not all rooms have with direct USB slot for charging.

If this hotel just has a history, that's not enough. Hardly any service. I booked different rooms for two nights and all included welcome fruits, but they were not delivered proactively once. They were all reluctantly delivered after calling. The concierge at the door has a big difference between Asian faces and Caucasian faces. There were several elderly Japanese couples and several tables of white couples at breakfast. They always serve white faces first (greeted with smiles) and then Asians, which makes me feel really uncomfortable. It is a pity that such a hotel with such a historical story has such unsatisfactory service. I will not choose it again next time.

This is a fantastic hotel! The suite is definitely worth it for an extended stay. The front desk and restaurant staff are friendly, helpful, and unfailingly professional. The housekeeper - Pilar- was super nice and cheerful and always greeted us with a smile. We chose this hotel due to proximity to my conference- it’s not in the middle of the busy parts of the city and at first we wondered if that would be a problem because the sights are not easy walking distance. However we quickly came to value the location- less crowded, great view, an oasis of sorts! Plus once we learned the excellent public transport system we realized this is right on a great bus route with a stop right across the street! Could not be happier with the hotel!
